A use of a lubricant comprising at least one reaction product of mono-di- and/or poly-isocyanate with unbranced and/or branced, unsaturated and/or saturated, alicyclic poly-amine with carbon numbers from 5 to 24, at least between at lease two elements, which are movable against each other.

A Lubricant comprises a carboxylic-acid-amide which is based on aliphatic unbranched, alicyclic and/or aromatic chains with chain length from 2 to 60 carbon atoms.

A bearing arrangement is equipped with a radial bearing and with a roller bearing which acts purely in the axial direction. Rollers of axial bearing have a needle-like, barrel-like design. Bearing rings are provided with the corresponding profiles. When axial play develops in the bearing arrangement, rollers shift radially under the effect of gravity in one case and under the effect of centrifugal force in the other with the effect of eliminating the axial play.

A roller bearing cage is made of a bent strip of sheet metal having abutting ends that are connected to one another, the cage being comprised of two end rings and a cage frame surrounding the windows, the windows retaining and guiding the rollers. In order to permit the manufacture of rolling element bearing cages of different reference circle diameters while using only one tool for rolling elements with a specific diameter d, the center distance between adjacent the cage windows in the circumferential direction is .pi.d/2.

Seal for bearing bushings

A seal for bearing bushing with a sealing ring in a bore of the bearing bushing having a sealing surface which rests against a cylindrical surface of a machine part supported in the bearing bushing. An auxiliary seal is located between the open end of the bearing bushing and a shoulder of the machine part. The auxiliary seal has a ring-shaped collar extending in the axial direction, by which it is connected to the bearing bushing and at least one sealing lip bearing against the bearing bushing. The ring-shaped collar is pretensioned with radial pretension. The auxiliary seal has axially oriented projections located in a ring-shaped recess on the side facing the bearing bushing and each projection is situated over a portion of its length on a tongue of the ring-shaped collar.

A clearance-free bearing bushing for universal joints which has a plurality of conical rollers located between a bearing bushing and a journal pin or the like. The rollers are pressed against their raceways by a spring element with a predetermined tension. On the side of the conical rollers facing away from the spring element, there is a thrust ring or the like, made of resilient material, which is free to move axially and which rests against the end surface of the conical rollers.

Clearance-free bearing bushing

A bearing bushing is provided with a sealing ring having a conical bore surface on the side remote from the side at which a shaft is inserted. The rim of the bearing bushing is provided with a concial surface which cooperates with the conical surface of the sealing ring during insertion of the shaft so as to restrain the sealing ring in a manner that prevents it from being forced out of the bearing bushing. Alternatively, a restraining ring having a circumferential projection with a conical surface can be arranged to prevent unseating of the sealing ring when the shaft is inserted from the sealing ring side of the bearing bushing. A shaft being inserted exerts axial force on the sealing ring, causing the inner portion of the sealing ring to expand radially as the conical surface of the sealing ring slidingly ascends the conical surface of the bushing rim or restraining ring, thereby allowing easy insertion of the shaft.

A sealing device for bearing bushings, especially for universal joints including a cup-shaped bearing bushing overlying a universal joint pin comprising an inner sealing ring, a sheet metal part connected to the bearing bushing adapted to fix the inner sealing ring in place in an axial direction, and an outer sealing ring provided on a shoulder of the joint pin supported in the bearing bushing, the inner sealing ring has a retaining part between the rolling elements and the free end of a preferably radially oriented shank of the sheet metal part, which has one or more openings, which connect the spaces defined by the outer sealing ring, the inner sealing ring, and the sheet metal part to each other.

Sealing device for bearing bushings particularly for universal joints

A swivel pin bearing for rotatably seating a swivel pin in the yoke eye of a yoke arm. The bearing includes a bushing having a base portion and a sleeve portion integrally formed with the periphery of the base portion, this sleeve portion being arranged in the yoke eye with radial seating play, and a support plate releasably secured to the yoke arm. The base portion has a planar outer surface which opposes a planar inner surface of the support plate. An element is provided for coupling the bushing to the support plate such that axial displacement of the bushing relative to the support plate is prevented. The bushing is capable of sliding radial displacement relative to the support plate which is greater than the radial seating play of the bushing in the yoke eye.

Arrangement for mounting swivel pin bearing in yoke of universal joint

For a bearing bushing of generally cup-like form for universal joints including a universal joint pin, a check plate disposed between the axial end face of the pin and the bottom wall of the bushing, said check plate having on the side thereof confronting the pin concentric or circumferentially distributed projections with check surfaces and in that, proceeding from the end surface facing away from the pin, it has recesses or the like, which are arranged under the projections in the axial direction.

Bearing bushing for universal joints

A pocket cage for a rolling bearing, e.g. a cylindrical roller bearing, made in a mold with single-piece, radially movable sliders, in particular out of plastic material with low deformability, which cage comprises two side rings connected by webs, with at least the circumferential outer surface or the bore being provided with projections which project into the pockets and extend along only part of the web length for retaining the rolling elements in the radial direction. In particular, a retaining projection is provided on a first side of each web and a recess, i.e. free space, is provided on a second side of each web. The angle between the oblique surface of the recess and the second side surface of the web is greater than or equal to the angle between the surface of the retaining projection which faces the rolling element and the first side surface of the web.
