ABS-moulding compositions of (a) 5 to 70% by weight of one or more graft products and (b) 95 to 30% by weight of one or more thermoplastic resins with a content of 0.05 to 1% by weight (based on total moulding composition) of a perfluoroalkane acid or a derivative thereof to improve notched impact strength.

ABS-moulding compositions having high notched impact strength

A thermoplastic moulding composition which comprises: (A) from 99.99 to 94% by weight of an ABS composition comprising: (a) from 5 to 70% by weight of one or more rubber-based graft polymers; and (b) from 95 to 30% by weight of one or more thermoplastic resins; and (B) from 0.01 to 6.0% by weight of one or more compounds corresponding to the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R represents hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or carboxyl; R.sup.1 represents hydrogen or methyl; and R.sup.2 represents carboxyl, and which may also contain from 0.1 to 3% by weight of one or more compounds corresponding to the formula: ##STR2##

ABS moulding compounds having improved surface

The use of a liquid polymethyl phenyl siloxane or a liquid polydimethyl siloxane, in combination with calcium stearate, pentaerythritol tetrastearate, bis-stearylamide of ethylene diamine or mixtures thereof for improving the physical properties of ABS-polymers.

ABS-Polymers of high notched impact strength

A pigment preparation containing a pigment, a nonionic surface-active agent and, as a thermoplastic finishing agent, a copolymer which has an average molecular weight of 80,000 to 160,000 and consists of 90-50% by weight of .alpha.-methylstyrene and 10-50% by weight of acrylonitrile, and its use for the mass coloring of thermoplastic moulding compositions.
