The disclosure relates to a vibration damper comprising two adjustable damping valve devices, wherein a damping valve device is connected to a piston-rod-side working chamber via a fluid connection and a damping valve device is connected to a working chamber spaced apart from a piston rod within a cylinder filled with damping medium. A fluid connection between the damping valve device and the working chamber occurs via at least one tube element. Both adjustable damping valve devices are connected to a common balancing chamber for receiving the damping medium displaced out of the working chambers by the piston rod. A line block is connected to the cylinder, which forms a first fluid connection to the damping valve device for one of the working chambers and forms an intermediate tube, encasing the cylinder, for a second fluid connection to the damping valve device for the other of the two working chambers. The second fluid connection is also connected to the line block. Both fluid connections have a separate radial channel within the line block, each being connected to an inlet opening of the damping valve devices. A reducer part is arranged between the cylinder and the first fluid line of the line block, and the second fluid line runs within the line block within a projection surface of the cylinder.

Vibration damper having two adjustable damping valve devices

A vibration damper includes at least one adjustable damping valve having an outer housing connected to one end of an outer receptacle of the vibration damper. A longitudinal axis of the adjustable damping valve and a longitudinal axis of the vibration damper run parallel. The outer housing of the adjustable damping valve has a clamping surface for an axle connection part.

An adjustable vibration damper includes at least one adjustable damping valve, with a piston at a piston rod that divides a cylinder into a work chamber on the piston rod side and a work chamber on the side remote of the piston rod. The cylinder is at least partially enclosed by an intermediate tube that forms a fluid connection between one of the work chambers and the adjustable damping valve. A hydraulic apparatus is connected to the fluid connection of the one work chamber via a first line and to the other work chamber via a second line.

Adjustable vibration damper

An adjustable vibration damper comprises at least one adjustable damping valve for each working direction. A fluid connection between a compensation space and a working space is controlled by a check valve which has a check valve body and which is hydraulically connected in parallel with the adjustable damping valve. The check valve is held by an intermediate tube which forms the fluid connection and which has a connection orifice to the connected adjustable damping valve. The check valve body of the check valve is supported at least indirectly in the region of the connection orifice.

Vibration damper with an external housing

An adjustable damping valve device has a first adjustable damping valve assembly for a first flow direction and a second adjustable damping valve assembly for a second flow direction. The two damping valve assemblies are adjustable independently from one another, and the first damping valve assembly generates a damping force for only one flow direction and the second damping valve assembly has a minimum cross section through which damping medium can flow in the setting for maximum damping force so that the second damping valve device generates a damping force in both flow directions.

Adjustable damping valve device

An adjustable damping valve device includes a pressure-dependent auxiliary damping valve with an auxiliary damping valve body having at least one through-channel whose outlet side is at least partially covered by at least one valve disk. The at least one valve disk is centered at its outer diameter with respect to the auxiliary damping valve body, and the auxiliary damping valve body is constructed integral with a centering collar at which the at least one valve disk is guided.

An adjustable damping valve arrangement comprises an adjustable damping valve in which flow is bidirectional, wherein a pressure-dependent supplementary valve is associated with the adjustable damping valve in series therewith for each through-flow direction, wherein each supplementary valve has at least one separate through-channel, the outlet side thereof being at least partially covered by at least one valve disk, wherein the flow path proceeding from the adjustable damping valve in flow direction is carried out through the first supplementary valve from a smaller inlet diameter to a larger outlet diameter, and the at least one valve disk carries out a peripheral lift movement, wherein the flow path through the second supplementary valve in flow direction to the adjustable damping valve is implemented from a larger inlet diameter to a smaller outlet diameter.

A piston-cylinder unit includes a cylinder having a closure body at the end. The closure body has a sleeve body which is fixedly connected on one side to the closure body and which is fastened to the cylinder. The sleeve body has a base which supports an operating pressure in the cylinder in direction of the closure body.

A vibration damper with stroke-dependent damping force includes a cylinder in which a piston rod with a piston is axially movable. The piston divides the cylinder into two work spaces filled with damping medium. A bypass between the work spaces is opened or closed depending on the piston position. The piston has a damping valve for at least one through-flow direction formed by a valve body that partially covers a through-flow channel in the damping valve. The valve body has first and second pressure-actuated surfaces on opposite sides of the valve body. The action of the second pressure-actuated surface depends on the position of the piston in relation to the bypass. The first pressure-actuated surface exerts a lifting force and the second pressure-actuated surface exerts a closing force on the valve disk. The second pressure-actuated surface is connected to a control space and a connection channel that overlaps with the bypass depending on the stroke position of the piston.

Vibration damper with stroke-dependent damping force

Disclosed is a vibration damper comprising a cylinder in which a piston rod is guided in an axially movable manner. A first piston is mounted stationarily on the piston rod while a second piston that is equipped with at least one valve disk biased by a spring assembly is mounted on the piston rod so as to be axially movable counter to a force of at least one support spring. The spring assembly is provided with at least one spring plate on which the spring assembly rests. The second piston is retained by a fixing sleeve which supports the at least one spring plate. The structural unit encompassing the fixing sleeve and the at least one spring plate is fitted with an axially effective separating joint for a locking connection inside the structural unit. The entire structural unit can be axially displaced towards the at least one support spring.

An adjustable damping valve including an actuator, which exerts an actuating force on a valve body against the force of a spring to influence the throttle cross section which determines the damping force, where an emergency valve is connected in parallel with the throttle cross section with respect to the flow direction of the damping medium, where the two control surfaces of the valve body move in the axial direction and can thus can come to rest alternately on the two valve seating surfaces, and where the valve body is divided into two parts in the longitudinal direction, and each valve body assembly has its own control surface.

Adjustable damping valve with a fail-safe damping force characteristic

A piston rod with a piston is installed with freedom of axial movement in a damping medium-filled cylinder, where, as a function of the stroke position of the piston, a bypass connects the two working spaces separated from each other by the piston. The piston has at least one through-channel for at least one flow direction, which channel is at least partially covered on the outlet side by at least one valve disk, so that a first pressure-actuated surface to which pressure can be applied in the opening direction is present on the valve disk. In addition to the first pressure-actuated surface, the valve disk has a second pressure-actuated surface, which is separated from the first when the valve disk is closed and which can be actuated via the bypass, in which case the effects of the two pressure-actuated surfaces are additive. The second pressure-actuated surface of the valve disk, in addition to the first pressure-actuated surface of the valve disk, is designed with its throttle point in the area of the second pressure-actuated surface at least during a certain phase of the travel of the valve disk.
