An electrical connection terminal includes: a connection terminal housing having a conductor insertion opening; a busbar arranged in the connection terminal housing; a spring element rotatably mounted in the connection terminal housing and pivotable into an open position and into a closed position, a conductor inserted into the conductor insertion opening being clampable against the busbar by the spring element in the closed position; and an actuation element rotatably mounted in the connection terminal housing and by which the spring element can be actuated for transfer into the open position and into the closed position. The actuation element includes a base body, which has a tool insertion opening, and an actuation arm. The base body and the actuation arm are formed in two parts, the actuation arm being formed pivotally movable relative to the base body.

Electrical connection terminal with a two-part operating element

A metal part for an electric connecting device for connecting at least one stripped conductor end has a base limb, a contact limb that is substantially perpendicular relative to said base limb, and at least one lateral wall. The contact limb together with a clamping limb of a clamping spring forms a spring clamp terminal for an electric conductor to be connected. The metal part requires only a small amount of material in that the contact limb is bent away from the base limb, and the lateral wall is bent away from the contact limb, wherein the bending edge between the contact limb and the base limb runs perpendicular relative to the longitudinal extension of the contact limb and the base limb, while the bending edge between the contact limb and the lateral wall runs parallel relative to the longitudinal extension of the contact limb.

Metal part for an electrical connection device, a method of producing same and an electrical terminal equipped therewith

The present invention relates to a system for connecting electrical conductors to mutually different potentials, consisting of at least two electrical terminals () arranged alongside one another with plug receptacles () and at least two plug bridges () which have in each case at least two plug contacts () which are connected to one another via a top web () and can be plugged into the plug receptacles (). In order to specify a system for connecting electrical conductors to mutually different potentials in which a high degree of flexibility of the electrical connections is made possible in conjunction with a reduced space requirement, it is proposed that the plug bridges () and the electrical terminals () are embodied in a manner coordinated with one another in such a way that one plug bridge () can be plugged into plug receptacles () of the same electrical terminal () and the other plug bridge () can be plugged crosswise with respect thereto into plug receptacles () of two electrical terminals () arranged indirectly or directly alongside one another.

System for connecting electric conductors with potentials which differ from one another and plug-in adapter for the system

A level bridge for electrically bridging two contacts located on top of each other in a fastening. The level bridge comprises a conductive section for electrically bridging two contacts located on top of each other and an elastic section allowing introduction and secure fastening. The conductive section and the elastic section of the level bridge are embodied in one piece. Additionally, a method for producing level bridges which comprises the step of punching a metallic material so that a metallic one-piece blank of a level bridge develops is also provided.

Level bridges

An electrical connecting device with a housing, with terminals for insulated conductors, with at least one conductor bar, with at least two actuating elements and with at least two insulation piercing elements, the actuating elements being arranged to be able to turn relative to the insulation piercing elements and each having a conductor receiver for the conductors to be connected. The insulation piercing elements establish electrical contact of a conductor which has been inserted into the conductor receiver to the conductor bar, when the actuating element is pivoted out of a first position, in which the conductor can be inserted into the conductor receiver into a second position. By the conductor receiver being able to have at least two insulated conductors can be inserted therein, the possible applications are further enhanced, and the dimensions of the connecting device can be as small as possible.

Electrical connecting device

An electrical terminal has a housing including at least one side wall with two elongated holes, the two elongated holes are positioned spaced apart on a common circular path. The terminal also includes a busbar and at least two insulation piercing elements which produce electrical contact between the inserted conductor and the busbar. The electrical terminal includes at least two actuating elements arranged so as to turn relative to the insulation piercing elements in the electrical terminal. The actuating elements further includes two journals. Each journal is located in a corresponding one of the elongated holes and is restricted so that the actuating element, when pivoted out of a first position in which the insertion of an incoming conductor is possible into a second position in which the conductor makes contact with the insulation piercing element, is guided and restricted by the movement of the journals within the elongated holes.
