The invention relates to a wiper drive comprising a housing, a reversing motor and a gear mechanism connected downstream of the reversing motor, wherein a swaying element for driving at least one wiper arm or a wiper arm rod is provided on the gear mechanism output shaft, and wherein the operating range of the swaying element lies within a pivoting range which is delimited by two mechanical stops, wherein at least one stop is designed such that it can be removed and/or moved in such a way that the swaying element, when the wiper drive is mounted on a support frame, can be moved from a first mounting position, which lies outside the pivoting range, into the pivoting range without being obstructed by the stop. The invention furthermore relates to methods for mounting a wiper drive on a support frame.

A brush holding plate includes cartridges and brushes, which are guided into the cartridges. The brushes are guided in a spring-loaded manner in the radial direction towards a central opening in the brush holding plate. The cartridges are arranged on the brush holding plate in such a way that they can be displaced from a radially outer pre-assembly position into a radially inner end assembly position.

The invention is a driving device mainly for the windshield wiper assembly of a motor vehicle, which has a housing, an electric motor located in a housing with a pivoted armature, a gear unit located in the housing with a worm shaft located on a section of the armature and an axial force generating device to compensate for the axial free play of the armature. In order to create a driving device of the simplest possible construction in which the axial force generating device does not have to absorb all of the axial forces from the armature and which nevertheless can properly compensate for the axial free play of the armature, one end of the armature is supported by a support bearing at the housing and that the axial force generating device has a tapered sliding member which rides movably in the housing in a radial direction relative to the armature and is supported at the armature so that an axial force running in the direction of the support bearing can be applied to the armature by moving the tapered slide.

A wiping device for wiping window panes on vehicles includes a wiping motor, a gear mechanism situated on a drive shaft of the wiper motor, a gear housing which surrounds the gear mechanism, a gear housing cover which is situated on the gear housing, a gear output shaft and a crank which is located on the gear output shaft on the side of the gear housing facing away from the gear in a rotationally fixed manner. The connection between the gear output shaft and the crank is a press connection.

Wiping device

A drive device includes an electric drive motor, a housing, at least one shaft driven by the drive motor, compensation elements enabling the end play of the shaft to be adjusted or compensated while the shaft is being mounted, and fixing elements which are used to fix the shaft after the end play has been adjusted or compensated. The compensation elements include a spring element which is arranged inside the housing and which axially actuates the shaft. The fixing elements are not accessible from the outer side of the housing.

A geared motor includes an electric motor enclosed by a housing, a brush mounting plate having a plurality of brushes including at least one ground brush connected to ground and a connector element having a brush locator to accommodate an electrical connection to the ground brush and a ground locator to accommodate an element connected to ground. The ground locator is detachably connected directly with the grounded gear housing.

The invention relates to a windscreen wiper drive mechanism in which an output lever can be fixed on a gear wheel at a predetermined angle, the gear wheel adopting a position at a defined angle. Before assembly, the output shaft should be connected to the output lever in such a way that it cannot be detached. The invention also relates to a method for assembling a drive system of this type. The inventive method consists essentially of the following steps: moving the gear wheel into the defined end position (park position) independently of engagement with the output shaft and then connecting the output shaft to which the output lever was previously undetachably fixed to the gear wheel, with a press fit. Advantageous embodiments describe appropriate bearing possibilities for the gear wheel and suitable steps for facilitating the pressing-in process.

In a drive mechanism for a windshield wiper, a switch disk for realizing a park position switch is supported so as to be independently rotatable relative to an output gear of a gear unit. The output gear and the switch disk are coupled with each other via a coupling device, with the coupling device acting as an engaging device carrying the switch disk along, in one direction of rotation only. In order to lower an axial dimension of the gear unit, the disk is rotatably supported on a sleeve, through which an output shaft extends so that the end of the shaft can support itself directly on a housing lid.

The invention relates to a brush-holding device for electric motors comprising carbon brushes, a conductive stamped grid as a printed circuit board, a base to which the printed circuit board is attached and components for monitoring temperature or for radioshielding. The printed circuit board is a single part and has several levels, at least one of which is staggered axially and in alignment with the commutator. The brush-holding device has a small overall length and the electric bonding of the components can take place simply without any additional parts.

A carbon brush for an electric machine, resiliently acting on a collector, is arranged within a guideway so as to be movable radially to the collector and is inflexibly connected with a bending leg. The carbon brush allows easy and cost-saving assembly in a motor and electric contacting. The bending leg serves the resilient advance of the carbon brush towards the collector, on the one hand, and the electric power supply, on the other hand.
