An electrical connector and a method for fastening the connector to a circuit board has a connecting chamber in which a conductor rail is arranged. The conductor rail is electrically connected at a connecting side of the electrical connector to an electrical connecting part make electrical contact at a contact side with a circuit board. The conductor rail includes a connecting arm for connection with the electrical connecting part and a contact arm for connection with the circuit board. The connecting arm and the contact arm are joined together by a connection arm. The connecting part is displaced in a connecting direction extending parallel to the conductor rail for connection with the conductor rail. The contact arm is designed as a spring in order to press against the circuit board when they are connected. The conductor rail can be positioned in two mutually rotated positions and the electrical connector may have at least two adjacent connecting chambers.

Electrical connector for connecting electrical conductors to a printed circuit board

A resilient conductive contact spring is bent to define at least three tulip-shaped receptacles for receiving conductive devices that are to be electrically connected together by the contact spring. The contact spring can be included in a socket arrangement for connecting an electrical component mounted within a housing with a bus bar power supply system arranged outside the housing.

Contact element for a plug arrangement in a bus system, more particularly an externally routed bus system

An electrical module arrangement for supplying electrical power to a printed circuit board mounted within the housing of an electrical module, including a plug-in electrical connector mounted in an opening contained in an end wall of the module housing. The connector is of the conductive leaf spring S-shaped type, including two reversely-bent portions defining oppositely directed recesses for receiving a bus bar voltage source and a planar contact of the printed circuit board, respectively. In a modification, the leaf spring is W-shaped including three bends, thereby permitting connection of the PCB contact with two separate parallel spaced bus bar arrangements. A plurality of the modules are supported in side-by-side relation either by mounting the module housings on a common mounting rail, or by connecting the plug-in connectors to a common bus bar mounted on a fixed support.

Series module arrangement with an energy bus system

A housing for protectively enclosing a printed circuit board, including a base, and a pair of parallel spaced vertical housing side walls extending upwardly from the base to define a chamber that receives the central portion of the printed circuit board, whereby the vertical edge portions of the board extend outwardly beyond the corresponding vertical edges of the housing side walls, respectively. Vertical side members having generally U-shaped horizontal cross-sectional configurations are mounted on the outwardly extending edge portions of the printed circuit board, respectively, with the leg portions of each side member extending between the housing side walls and the printed circuit board, respectively, whereby portions of housing side walls overlap the side member leg portions. The upper end of the chamber is closed by a lid member that is fastened between the upper ends of the side members.
