The invention relates to a planetary transmission for a hybrid drive of a motor vehicle, having three coupled planetary gear sets, having numerous shift elements, and having at least one electric machine, to which a shaft inside the transmission is allocated, wherein, with a first planetary gear set, the ring gear can be connected to a component permanently attached to the housing, and the planet carrier is connected in a driving manner to the ring gear of a second planetary gear set, wherein, with the second planetary gear set, the planet carrier is connected to the ring gear of a third planetary gear set, and the sun gear can be powered by a transmission input shaft, and wherein, with the third planetary gear set, the planet carrier is connected to a transmission output shaft. In order that the planetary transmission has a compact structure and is cost-effective in terms of its production, and is efficient in terms the operation thereof, it is provided that the sun gear of the first planetary gear set is connected to the component permanently attached to the housing, and that the sun gear of the third planetary gear set can be connected to the component permanently attached to the housing and to the ring gear of the first planetary gear set.

Planetary transmission

A split power transmission with a variable drive, a brake, a clutch, an integrating transmission containing a planetary set, the internal gear forming the output of the transmission, and an additional planetary set located between the drive shaft and the transmission. A portion of the transmission drive shaft power is transferable to the transmission which includes a secondary shaft located axially parallel to the variable drive. The power of the variable drive is directed towards the integrating transmission via the secondary shaft by using a defined transmission ratio. Torque division in the low cruising range and is achieved by locking the brake connecting the internal gear of the planetary set located between the drive shaft, and the transmission to the unit. Whereas in the high cruising range, by engaging the clutch the sun gear of the transmission is interlocked with the internal gear of the transmission.

Split power transmission to include a variable drive

A motor vehicle transmission () which is outfitted with a start-up subassembly (A), a core transmission (B) as well as an output subassembly (C) which are drive-engineering connected with one another and are arranged in a transmission housing to reduce development, manufacturing and storage costs. Moreover, the start-up subassembly (A) contains a clutch, a double clutch () or a torque converter, while the core transmission (B) is constructed as a gear reduction transmission. The core transmission (B) disposes over at least one transmission input shaft (), a gear reduction shaft () as well as at least one transmission output which is not oriented coaxially toward the at least one transmission input shaft (). The output subassembly (C) contains transmission components for a front-transverse drive (), for a front-longitudinal or rear-longitudinal drive () or for an all wheel drive ().
