A sensor arrangement for redundant determination of an angle of rotation of a body about an axis of rotation includes at least one circuit carrier, a first sensor device having a first ECU and a second ECU. A magnet of the first sensor device and a coupling device of the second sensor device are each coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to the rotatable body. The first ECU is designed to receive signals caused by the rotational movement of the magnet and to generate at least one first electrical measurement signal which represents the current angle of rotation of the rotatable body. The second ECU is designed to receive signals caused by the rotary movement of the coupling device and to generate at least one redundant second electrical measurement signal which represents the current angle of rotation of the rotatable body.

The disclosure relates to a method for operating a rotational speed sensor of a motor vehicle with a signal encoder ring having a plurality of magnet elements arranged uniformly over its circumference with alternating orientation, and with a signal receiver having at least two sensor elements arranged uniformly apart from one another for sensing magnetic fields of the magnets. Information bits are generated based on magnetic field strengths detected by the sensor elements and made available as a rotational speed information signal. At a low rotational speed, an additional rotational speed information signal is generated and added to the rotational speed information signal. The additional signal comprises additional rotational speed pulses inserted between two normal rotational speed pulses. As a result, a plurality of rotational speed pulses are available per period of the encoder ring and a higher resolution of determination of the speed becomes possible.

A sensor housing for a wheel-sensor device for a vehicle includes a first receiving aperture, a second receiving aperture, a first rotational-speed sensor, a rotary transducer, and a second rotational-speed sensor. A sensor arrangement for measuring a speed of a rotating component includes a rotary encoder and sensor unit. The encoder is coupled to the component, and has a magnetic surface code with alternating North and South poles. The sensor unit has a housing, connecting cable, at least one sensitive measuring element, and contacting arrangement. The element is positioned in the sensor unit such that a main detection direction of the element is angled relative to a main extension direction of the sensor unit. The contacting arrangement electrically connects the element to the cable within the housing. Rotational movement of the encoder changes a magnetic field generated by the code at the element, which is configured to detect the change over a first direction parallel to the main extension direction or over a second direction perpendicular to the main extension direction in order to determine the speed of the component.

The control device has a receiving device, an output stage, a checking device and a reset device. The receiving device is used to receive at least one data block including control commands from a data bus, the output stage is used to output an output signal in response to the control commands, the checking device is used to output an error signal if the at least one received data block is faulty and/or if no data block is received within a predetermined time, and the reset device is used to reset the output stage in a predefined state if the checking device outputs the error signal. The invention is directed to a circuit for processing a signal (UL) of a lambda probe having a probe signal terminal on which the signal (UL) is outputted and a probe ground terminal. The circuit includes a voltage source having a plus pole and having a minus pole connected to the probe ground terminal. A first network of passive components is connected between the plus pole and the probe signal terminal for dividing the voltage between the plus pole and the probe signal terminal in a pregiven ratio thereby providing a divided potential as a first analog signal. An analog-to-digital converter has an input and is connected to a chassis ground at a ground potential different than the ground potential at the probe ground terminal. A second network of passive components is connected to the plus pole for supplying a potential proportional to the potential on the plus pole as a second analog signal. The input of the converter is directly connected to the first network to receive the first analog signal and to the second network to receive the second analog signal thereby facilitating digital processing of the first and second analog signals in the converter.
