The present invention relates to a transmitting device for producing an analog-modulated pulse train and for emitting the same, comprising a pulse generator, with which a pulse train with an individual pulse form can be produced such that the pulse train falls in a predefined frequency band and/or into a predefined frequency mask, a modulation unit connected to the pulse generator and with which a pulse train can be analog-modulated by means of a predefined modulation scheme with respect to the amplitude thereof and/or the position of the individual pulses thereof, and an emitting unit, in particular an antenna, connected to the pulse generator and/or to the modulation unit and suitable for emitting in the predefined frequency band and/or in the frequency range of the predefined frequency mask, with which emitting unit the analog-modulated pulse train can be emitted, in particular beamed.

Various embodiments may provide a circuit including a radio frequency (RF) power amplification module having an RF power amplifier. The RF power amplification module may further include a directional coupler coupled with the RF power amplifier and configured to produce a power signal at a coupling port of the directional coupler corresponding to an output power of the RF power amplifier. The RF power amplification module may further include a switch coupled between the coupling terminal and a sensing path to selectively couple the coupling port with a power detector via the sensing path. The RF power amplification module may further include a termination load coupled to an isolation port of the directional coupler. Some embodiments may include a plurality of RF power amplification modules coupled together by the sensing path.

A motor vehicle roof with a fixed roof structure having a roof opening, two successive adjustable covers for closing and at least partially clearing the roof opening. At least one of the covers is selectively movable longitudinally out of its closed position into an open position and both of the covers are selectively pivotable out of their closed positions into a ventilation position.

Flexible thermoplastic rack bar for meshing with a gear wheel, particularly for the drive of displaceable vehicle elements, like roof elements, sliding windows, and the like, having a series of supported teeth and a pull-resistant reinforcement embedded essentially parallel to a pitch line of the rack bar. The rack bar teeth are supported on at each lateral side and the reinforcement is disposed only in a cross-sectional area of the rack bar which lies heightwise between the head and the root of the rack bar teeth, preferably, substantially along a central transverse plane of the rack bar.

A sliding type vehicle roof is provided having guide tubes for pressure-resistant drive cables that are positioned, in the zone of contact area between the drive cables and a drive device, in a sheathing part that is formed about the guide tubes and acts as a holding device for the guide tubes. Roof and frame assembly for a motor vehicle and method of forming same

A frame arrangement for a vehicle roof that has a roof opening that is closable by a displaceable cover panel that, along with driving and guiding components thereof, is supported on a frame bounding the roof opening which has only the function of a support, i.e., does not form a necessary part of a fully functional installation unit, comprising a guide insert and a covering. The guide insert and the covering form the tracks for a slidable guide element and the cable guide channels for actuating cables, which interact with an appropriately suitable actuation device for displacing the cover panel. The guide insert can be made of plastic or metal, and the covering is advantageously divided into a front side section and side sections. Frame arrangement for a vehicle roof

A frame arrangement for a vehicle roof of the type having a roof opening which can be closed and selectively at least partially opened by displacement of a cover panel by actuating cables, the cover being guided by guide element tracks on the side parts of a support frame. According to the invention, the frame arrangement is provided with a guide part, which is set on the frame and which contains guide channels for the actuating cables and forms an upper sliding surface of the lateral tracks for the guide element. Advantageously, the guide part is constructed of a U shape that extends over the side parts and the front side of the frame. Preferably, this guide part is produced of plastic, while the frame consists of a sheet metal part.

For the purpose of noise reduction, boundary edges of the cable guideway contacting the drive cable are of a configuration such that they form an angle with the longitudinal axis of the drive cable which deviates from 90 degrees; whereby an acute approach angle enclosed between the boundary edges of the cable guideway and the sections of the turns of the helical thread facing them, is larger than an acute elevation angle which is enclosed between the helical turns and a vertical plane which extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the drive cable.

The air deflector is supported by an arcuate adjuster that is rigidly connected to it and which is slidably guided in a correspondingly arcuate guide channel of a guide block that is fixed with reference to the vehicle body.
