A clamping and pulling device for cylinder packings in a printing press, the device having gripper elements disposed in a cylinder gap extending axially at a circumference of a cylinder, and power elements for actuating the gripper elements to grip and firmly hold an end of a respective packing extending around an edge defining the gap and into the gap and, when actuated by the power elements, for pulling the cylinder packing around the edge defining the gap into the gap, includes abutments on the cylinder, the gripper elements being formed of two clamping bars having respective opposing clamping jaws braced against the abutments, respectively, and, in an angular position defined by the abutments on the cylinder and the arrangement of the clamping jaws at a bent-away portion of the cylinder packing, being disposed with a vertex directed opposite to a tensioning direction, tensioning forces of a respective power element serving to load at least one of the clamping bars in the direction of a mutually extended position of the two clamping bars.

Provided in a printing press having a printing-press housing and an impression cylinder are a numbering box having a numbering-box shaft for holding numbering devices, an inking device with an ink form roller, and a switching or control device, including telescopic rails mounted in the printing-press housing, the numbering box being disposed on the telescopic rails and being displaceable thereon into and out of engagement with the impression cylinder, and a mechanism for simultaneously effecting mutual engagement and disengagement of the inking device and the numbering-box shaft.

Wash-up device for an inking unit of a printing press, including guide bar brackets disposable on a frame of the printing press, is provided with holders for the wash-up device insertably received in the guide bar brackets, the holders being formed by end zones of an actuating shaft for displacing the wash-up device into engagement with a roller of an inking unit to be washed; the actuating shaft, when received in an inserted position in the guide bar bracket, being turnable out of an assumed angular position thereof, for effecting engagement of the end zones of the actuating shaft behind steps formed in the guide bar brackets, so as to fix the wash-up device in an insert position, the actuating shaft being further turnable for effecting engagement by the wash-up device with the roller of the inking unit to be washed.
