The invention relates to a pressure measuring cell comprising a base body, a membrane that is connected to the base body, thus forming a measuring chamber. During operation, the membrane is subjected to a deflection which is dependent on a pressure that is to be measured. The cell also comprises a membrane bed, formed by a surface of the base body that faces the membrane, at least one electrode being mounted on said bed. Said electrode, together with a counter-electrode that is mounted on the membrane, forms a capacitor, whose capacitance represents a measurement for the deflection of the membrane. The measuring cell is characterized in that the electrode is electrically connected through the base body and that the measuring chamber has a smooth surface in the contact zone, said surface having a contact pin that is guided in a bore through the base body. The electrode is electrically connected by means of said pin for measuring the capacitance and the pin is soldered into the bore on the membrane side, using a solder. The contact pin, the solder and the membrane bed form a smooth surface.

A transmitter having an improved current output is provided, having: a sensor (), which serves to register a physical quantity (X) and to convert such to an electrical quantity; electronics, which converts the electrical quantity into a measurement signal and makes such available at an electrical current output in the form of a signal current (I) corresponding to the physical quantity; and a pick-up unit having a magnetoresistive element, whose resistance changes as a function of the magnetic flux (&#x3a6;) produced by the signal current (I).

Transmitter

The invention relates to a pressure measuring arrangement comprising a pressure measuring cell which is fed by a pressure corresponding to the pressure which is to be measured by a pressure tube filled by a pressurised liquid; at least one pressure recording unit is arranged separately from said cell, said unit being impinged upon by a pressure which is to be measured during operation, producing a pressure corresponding to the pressure which is to be measured via a pressure line filled by a liquid; a connection between the pressure tube and the pressure line. A modular design and a large amount of flexibility is obtained in respect of the spatial arrangement of the pressure measuring cell and the pressure recording unit. The connection consists of a base body wherein at least one end section of the pressure line is arranged, in addition to a pressure screw through which the pressure tube passes and is secured by a fixing element arranged on a side which is oriented towards the base body of the pressure screw. Said pressure screw has a thread which enables it to be screwed onto base body in such a way that the pressure tube and the pressure line are connected, and the connection is effectively sealed between the pressure tube and the pressure line.

Pressure measuring arrangement

A pressure sensor is provided having a housing, a process connection which is connected to the housing and serves to feed a medium whose pressure (p) is to be measured to a membrane which his arranged in the housing, said membrane, in operation, undergoing a deflection which depends on the pressure (p) which is to be measured, which pressure sensor can have a seal made of a chemically highly resistant material and in which the membrane can consist either of ceramic or metal, which pressure sensor has a seal which seals a gap found between the housing and the process connection and/or the membrane, bears directly against the gap and covers the gap, and which is clamped between the housing and the membrane, and which pressure sensor has a spring which is two-legged in cross section, whose first and second legs enclose an acute angle, whose first leg has a leg surface which faces away from the second leg, rests on a supporting surface and is connected fixedly to the latter, and whose second leg has a leg surface which faces away from the first leg, bears in a planar manner against the seal and exerts a spring force on the seal, which spring force acts in the direction of the gap.

Pressure sensor

A ceramic pressure measuring cell with a basic body ( ), a diaphragm ( ) connected to the basic body ( ) to form a measuring chamber ( ), which during operation undergoes a deflection dependent on a pressure (p -p ) to be measured and the deflection of which is registered by means of an electromechanical transducer and is made accessible for further evaluation and/or processing, and a bore ( ) which penetrates the basic body ( ) and into which a small pressure tube ( ) is soldered in a pressure-resistant and gastight manner, and via which a pressure (p , p ) is introduced into the measuring chamber ( ), is provided, in which a volume inside the measuring cell and the small pressure tube is precisely known, since the mechanical stop ( ) fixes a depth of penetration of the small pressure tube ( ) into the basic body ( ).

Pressure measuring cell

A transmitter housing is provided in which the transmitter electronic unit is protected against ambient influences even during the electrical connection of the transmitter. The transmitter housing comprises a housing ( ) for accommodating a transmitter electronic unit, and a connection housing ( ), in which electrical connections that can be connected to external lines are provided and which is mechanically releasably connected to the housing ( ). A plug-in connection ( ) is provided between the housing ( ) and the connection housing ( ), via which plug-in connection the transmitter electronic unit can be connected to the connections.
