A domestic refrigeration appliance apparatus has a storage unit which defines at least one storage chamber for storing food that is open in the direction of an upper face of the storage unit, a closing unit which in at least one first storage state closes the storage unit at least substantially in the direction of the upper face, and a ventilation unit which in at least one second storage state moves the closing unit relative to the storage unit to ventilate the storage chamber. In order to provide a generic apparatus with improves properties in respect of efficient ventilation of a storage chamber, it is proposed that the ventilation unit pivots the closing unit about at least one pivot axis relative to the storage unit to ventilate the storage chamber.

A domestic appliance device, particularly a domestic refrigerator device, has at least one appliance body with at least one a rear wall, at least one shelf unit, and at least one retainer unit provided for retaining the shelf unit. A drawer is accommodated in the lower compartment. The freshness-preserving container has a mechanically operating low-pressure generating unit with which an air pressure that is reduced compared to the surrounding area outside of the freshness-preserving container can be adjusted in the freshness-preserving container. The low-pressure generating unit has an actuating element which can be moved relative to the freshness-preserving container, and air can be suctioned out of the freshness-preserving container dependent on the movement of the actuating element. A tray-shaped food-accommodating container for a domestic refrigeration appliance includes a lateral wall with a first planar wall and at least a second planar wall disposed at an angle to each other. The first and second planar walls open out at a curved transition of the lateral wall interconnecting the first and second planar walls. A decorative film, which is provided in areas of the lateral wall, is formed in one piece across the transition and areas of the first and second planar walls. A lower edge of the decorative film, which faces away from an upper edge of the container, is disposed along a stepless surface-area of the transition, along a stepless surface-area of the first planar wall and along a stepless surface-area of the second planar wall. A domestic refrigeration appliance having the container is also provided.

A refrigeration appliance includes a housing and toothed profiles which are fixed to the housing. A height-adjustable shelf for refrigerated goods is received in the housing. The shelf has two rotatably drivable screws in engagement with the toothed profiles such that a storage surface of the shelf is held at least approximately in a horizontal orientation.

A temperature-indicating element for a refrigeration device, including a support or backing, a thermochromic layer applied to the backing for indicating the temperature is suitable for items stored in the location of the element. A transparent potting compound encompasses and protects the thermochromic layer on the backing.

A shelf for refrigerating appliances, in particular a bottle shelf for a bottle-storage cabinet, has a frame, formed by transverse and longitudinal struts, and a plurality of trays which are retained one beside the other between two transverse struts of the frame and are intended for accommodating in each case one bottle. At least one of the transverse struts, over at least part of its cross section, is formed by an extruded profile made of a material that has a higher modulus of elasticity than the material of the longitudinal struts.
