A multi-clutch arrangement, especially a dual clutch for motor vehicles, comprising a first clutch area with a first pressure plate arrangement, with a first opposing support arrangement, and with a first clutch disk arrangement, which can be clamped between the first pressure plate arrangement and the first opposing support arrangement to transmit torque via the first clutch area; and a second clutch area with a second pressure plate arrangement, with a second opposing support arrangement, and with a second clutch disk arrangement, which can be clamped between the second pressure plate arrangement and the second opposing support arrangement to transmit torque via the second clutch area. A torsional vibration damper arrangement is assigned to at least one of the clutch areas, and where&mdash;relative to an axis of rotation (A)&mdash;the torsional vibration damper arrangement is arranged at least partially in the axial area of the first clutch area and/or of the second clutch area.

Multi-clutch arrangement

A drive system that includes a drive shaft, which is or can be brought into torque-transmitting connection with a drive train, a secondary drive system for transmitting torque between the drive shaft and at least one auxiliary unit, and at least one vibration-damping device including a deflection mass carrier with freedom to rotate around a rotational axis and at least one deflection mass, which can shift position relative to the deflection mass carrier in at least one deflection plane. Upon deflection of the at least one deflection mass from the home position relative to the deflection mass carrier, the radial position of the deflection mass changes relative to the rotational axis. At least part of the vibration-damping device can be integrated into part of the secondary drive system.

A torsion damping mechanism with a torsion damper with an input side and an output side, where the input side and the output side are connected elastically to each other by spring-type stored energy elements for rotation in common auxiliary mass which can rotate coaxially to the torsion damping mechanism is connected frictionally to the torsion damping mechanism by way of a friction area, where the frictional connection between the torsion damping mechanism and the auxiliary mass has a predetermined frictional moment. When this moment is exceeded during the occurrence of peaks in the torque being applied to the torsion damping mechanism, the auxiliary mass can slip or slips.

A leaf spring arrangement, especially for connecting a pressure plate to a housing, comprises a plurality of adjacent leaf spring elements, where each leaf spring element has a first attachment area for establishing the connection the pressure plate, a second attachment area for establishing the connection to the housing, and a connecting area extending between the first attachment area and the second attachment area. At least certain areas of at least two of the leaf spring elements are spaced apart between their first attachment area and their second attachment area.

A pressure plate assembly for a friction clutch includes a housing arrangement and a pressure plate arrangement, which is held by at least one leaf spring arrangement with freedom of axial movement relative to the housing arrangement. The at least one leaf spring arrangement is fixed by a first attachment area to a first fastening area of the pressure plate arrangement and by a second attachment area to a second fastening area of the housing arrangement. The end area of the first fastening area and/or the second fastening area curves away from the minimum of one leaf spring arrangement, this end area being located in the area along which the at least one leaf spring arrangement extends.

A vibration damping device for a motor vehicle drive system includes a base body rotatable about an axis of rotation and a deflection mass arrangement having at least one deflection mass and a deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass. The at least one deflection mass is movable along the deflection path when the base body rotates about the axis of rotation. The deflection path defines a radial outer area of a movement space in the base body in which the at least one deflection mass is movable. The base body includes a carrier element in which the movement space is arranged and a first closure element connected with and constructed separately from the carrier element and arranged at a first axial side of the carrier element for closing the movement space in a first axial direction. The base body also has a second closure element connected with and constructed separately from the carrier element arranged at a second axial side of the carrier element for closing the movement space for the at least one deflection mass in the second axial direction.

Vibration damping device

A vibration damping device for a drive system of a motor vehicle includes a base body arranged for rotating about an axis of rotation and a deflection mass arrangement arranged in said base body and having at least one deflection mass and a deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass and along which the deflection mass is movable during rotation of the base body about the axis of rotation. The deflection path has a vertex area at a position furthest from the axis of rotation and deflection areas on both sides of the vertex area extending from the vertex area to ends areas. The deflection areas have a decreasing distance from the axis of rotation (A) proceeding from the vertex area toward their end areas. A braking arrangement acts in the end areas of the deflection areas for gradually slowing the approach of the at least one deflection mass to a respective end area of the deflection path.

A vibration damping device for a drive system of a motor vehicle, includes a deflection mass arrangement arranged in a base body which is rotatable about an axis of rotation (A). The deflection mass arrangement includes at least one deflection mass and a deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass and along which the deflection mass moves during rotation of the base body about the axis of rotation (A). The deflection path has a vertex area and deflection areas on both sides of the vertex area. The deflection areas have a decreasing distance from the axis of rotation (A) as they proceed from the vertex area toward their circumferential end areas. A positive rolling arrangement is arranged between the at least one deflection mass and the deflection path which generates a rolling movement of the at least one deflection mass during the movement of the at least one deflection mass along the associated deflection path and thereby prevents a sliding movement of the deflection mass.

A vibration damping system for a drive system of a motor vehicle includes an electric machine controllable by a control device for exerting a counter-torque on a rotating constructional group. A deflection mass arrangement is arranged at the rotating constructional group having at least one deflection mass and a deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass and along which the deflection mass can move. The deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass has a vertex area and deflection areas proceeding from the vertex area. The vertex area is an area with the greatest radial distance of the deflection path from an axis of rotation of the rotating constructional group.

Vibration damping system

A vibration damping device for a drive system of a motor vehicle includes a base body rotatable about an axis of rotation (A) and a deflection mass arrangement arranged in the base body having at least one deflection mass and a deflection path associated with the at least one deflection mass and along which the at least one deflection mass is movable during rotation of the base body about the axis of rotation. The deflection path has a vertex area and deflection areas emanating from the vertex area in opposite directions. The deflection areas proceed from the vertex area in substantially opposite axial directions.

A torsional vibration damper has a drive-side damper element and a driven-side damper element which is rotatable relative to the drive-side element against the action of a damping device, wherein the damping device serves to transmit torque between the two damper elements and has a plurality of coupling bodies, each of which is received in at least one guide path of each damper element, and, during a relative movement of the damper elements with respect to one another, undergoes a deflection in at least one of its guide paths. Guide paths which extend farther in the circumferential direction than in the radial direction and guide paths which extend farther in the radial direction than in the circumferential direction are provided. A succession of guide paths for the coupling bodies is realized in the circumferential direction in at least one of the damper elements, wherein at least one guide path extending farther in the radial direction is adjacent to at least some of the guide paths extending farther in the circumferential direction.

A pressure plate for a friction clutch has a friction-surface region which can be pressed against a friction-lining arrangement of a clutch disk or the like. The pressure plate, in the friction-surface region, is formed at least partially from a first material which provides rapid dissipation of heat generated by friction, and in a body region which adjoins the friction-surface region, is formed from a second material which has a high heat absorption capacity for the heat dissipated from the friction-surface region.

A rotary vibration damping device for damping rotary vibrations in a drive train through which the output torque of an internal combustion engine is transmitted in a drive power flow direction to driving wheels ot a motor vehicle. The damping device includes a first inertial mass arrangement that is connected to a crank shaft of the internal combustion engine for the purpose of rotation around a rotational axis, a second inertial mass arrangement that is connected via a spring device to the first inertial mass arrangement for common rotation around the rotational axis and for relative rotation with respect to the first inertial mass arrangement, and at least a third inertial mass arrangement that is connected to the drive train before the spring device in the drive power flow direction for rotation around the rotational axis. The third inertial mass arrangement can be disconnected from the drive train, with respect to rotary drive, when a predetermined operating state is attained.
