A screed arrangement for a paver machine includes a screed body including a deflector member and a base plate, and an oscillating tamper bar arrangement positioned between the deflector member and the base plate. The screed arrangement further includes a connecting element connecting the oscillating tamper bar arrangement and the screed body to each other.

Screed arrangement

The invention relates to a road-building machine, comprising a drivable chassis () on which a driver's cab () having a control panel () is provided. A canopy () that is fixed to the chassis by at least one support () is arranged above the driver's cab, wherein at least one support () is adjustably arranged on the chassis () such that the canopy () can be lowered for a transport position and raised for a working position. For a working position with reduced set-up height, the lowered canopy () forms a free space () for an operator in the region of the control panel () of the driver's cab (), wherefore a canopy section covering the control panel () is designed such as to be movable relative to the chassis ().

Road-building machine

The invention relates to a machine for milling traffic areas. The machine has a vertically adjustable chassis which carries a steerable traveling mechanism and a drive unit for moving the machine and for driving a milling mechanism coupled to the drive unit. A laser scanner is attached to at least on one side of the chassis. With the laser scanner, the height relative to the surface of a traffic area to be milled can be measured and the chassis can be set vertically in accordance with the measured values relative to the surface of the traffic area to be milled. The laser scanner is attached in the center side-wall region of the chassis. The scanning plane of the laser scanner is essentially parallel to the side-wall region of the chassis and at a height which permits monitoring of a hazard region which extends at least over the side length of the machine. The laser scanner produces a trigger signal if a disturbance occurs in the scanning plane.

Machine for milling traffic areas

A grooving depth indicator for a highway grooving or milling machine comprises a display device which is coupled by means of a cable to a mechanism which is employed to adjust the cutting depth of the machine. The display device includes an indicator scale which rotates relative to a zero marker, the scale being caused to rotate by a shaft on which a pulley is mounted. The coupling cable, which is maintained under tension by a spring bias, engages the pulley.
