A sensor device includes a moisture module that includes a sensor element for detecting moisture of a fluid medium flowing in a flow direction and a protective membrane screening the sensor element. The sensor device includes a housing, in a measuring chamber of which the moisture module is at least partially situated, and that includes a protective tube extending into the flowing fluid medium in an axial direction perpendicular to the flow direction, the protective tube is designed for flow of the fluid medium into at least one inlet opening, through an inflow path, into the measuring chamber counter to the axial direction, and out of the measuring chamber via an outflow path in the axial direction and an outlet opening, where, with respect to a direction of gravity, the openings are at a bottom of the protective tube.

An ultrasonic transducer for use in a fluid medium is proposed. A matching member is used which has at least one porous molding of a polymer.

An ultrasonic transducer is described for use in a fluid medium. The ultrasonic transducer includes at least one piezoelectric transducer element and at least one matching element for promoting an oscillation injection between the piezoelectric transducer element and the fluid medium. A device for determining at least one parameter of a fluid medium, in particular an intake air mass of an internal combustion engine. The device comprises a sensor chip for measuring the parameter and a control and evaluation electronics having a circuit carrier. The sensor chip is situated on a chip carrier capable of being introduced into the fluid medium. The chip carrier comprises a projection of the circuit carrier developed in one piece with circuit carrier, the sensor chip being fixed in place on the projection.

An ultrasonic transducer for use in a fluid medium includes at least one transducer core having at least one acoustic/electric transducer element. The ultrasonic transducer furthermore includes at least one decoupling element which is configured to reduce a structure-borne noise coupling between the transducer core and a housing. The decoupling element includes at least one porous plastic material, in particular a foamed plastic material. The porous plastic material includes at least one thermosetting polymer and/or at least one thermoplastic.

To determine air mass flows, especially for controlling internal combustion engines, a hot-film air-mass sensor is provided, which may be used especially for sensing air mass flows in the intake tract of an internal combustion engine. The hot-film air-mass sensor has a sensor chip having a sensor frame and a sensor diaphragm having at least one heating element and at least two temperature sensors. Furthermore, the hot-film air-mass sensor has a chip carrier for mounting the sensor chip, as well as at least one additional heating element. The sensor chip is able to be heated up using the at least one additional heating element, which is inserted into the chip carrier. Compared to the usual devices, the hot-film air-mass sensor has a lower susceptibility to contamination, especially by oil films.

A device for determining at least one parameter of a medium which flows in a conduit has a fluid conduit part having a wall which forms a fluid conduit passage and has an insertion opening, a plug sensor having a sensor element, an insertion portion which is inserted through the insertion opening of the wall into the fluid conduit passage, an electrical connection portion which is not inserted into the fluid conduit passage, and a stop surface which abuts against a stop surface of the fluid conduit part, and mounting means for mounting the plug sensor on the fluid conduit part, the mounting means including a holding part which is pushed substantially perpendicular to an insertion direction of the plug sensor onto a connecting pipe of the fluid conduit part which surrounds the insertion opening, the holding part having at least one first portion abutting against a supporting surface of the connecting pipe and at least one second portion applying a pretensioning force to a securing surface of the plug sensor which faces away from the insertion portion of the plug sensor, so that a stop surface of the plug sensor abuts against the stop surface of the fluid conduit part.
