An apparatus for producing and winding synthetic multifilament yarns, which has a spin unitfor melt spinning the yarns, at least one treatment unitfor treating the yarns, and a takeup unitwith a plurality of winding positions for winding the yarns. The winding positions-are distributed along a horizontal axis of the takeup unit, with a driven guide rolland a yarn guide-for each winding position being arranged upstream thereof for advancing the yarn. To prevent different yarn deflections despite a different spacing between yarns while treating and while winding the yarns, the invention provides for orienting the guide rollwith its roll axis in the vertical direction to guide the yarns, and for arranging it laterally adjacent the yarn guides-such that the yarns can be advanced substantially in parallel relationship between the guide rolland the yarn guides-

A spinneret assembly for melt spinning a plurality of strand-like filaments, which includes a plurality of internal parts composed of at least one inlet componentand a spinneret platewhich are braced relative each other in a housingby a supporting means. The inlet componentforms a melt inletand the spinneret plateforms a melt outlet by means of a plurality of spin holesTo achieve during operation a self-sealing between the internal parts, the invention provides for arranging an expansion bodybetween the housingand one of the internal parts. The expansion bodyis formed of a material which has a higher thermal expansion coefficient than the housing material, and it generates, upon being heated, a pressure force inside the housing which provides for a self-sealing bracing of the internal parts.

Spinneret for melt spinning filaments

An apparatus and a method for texturing blended synthetic multifilament yarns, wherein the blended yarns are each produced in parallel from a plurality of individual yarn components. The individual yarn components are withdrawn and drawn by a withdrawal means, with a guide means being associated to the withdrawal means for combining the individual yarns to the blended yarns. The blended yarns are separately textured, and to obtain for each of the blended yarns a combination of the individual yarn components that is as identical as possible, the individual yarn components are divided into groups, with each group being reciprocated by one of a plurality of individually controlled traversing yarn guides. The groups of the individual yarn components are guided independently of one another while being reciprocated, with each of the individual yarn components per group being respectively associated to the blended yarns.

Apparatus and method for texturing a plurality of blended synthetic multifilament yarns

A spinning-drawing-texturing machine for producing crimped threads is described, comprising a spinning device, a drawing device, a texturing device, and a take-up device. A plurality of threads spun by the spinning device is assigned to the drawing device, the texturing device, and the take-up device. According to the present invention, the drawing device and the texturing device are arranged in a processing module and the take-up device in a winding module underneath the spinning device. The processing module and the winding module are erected side by side and form one long side of the machine. This ensures a configuration divided by functional groups, which facilitates operation and increases operational reliability.
