Devices for discharging ground currents, more particularly in wind turbines, from electrical machines. The devices have a grounding ring mounted on a rotor of the electrical machine and a sliding contact connectable to ground and that is in contact with the grounding ring. The sliding contact element has a carbon brush with a bulk density between 1.1 and 1.4 g/cm, and the carbon brush contains a metal inclusions composed of silver, the silver proportion being between 1 and 8%.

Device discharging ground currents, particularly in wind turbines

The invention relates to a method for producing a connection between a carbon strip and a metal mounting of a bow contact for current collectors by means of an adhesive containing electrically conductive particles. The method is characterized in that the adhesive contains 40 to 50 parts by weight of a first adhesive component on the basis of a phenolic resin, 5 to 20 parts by weight of a second adhesive component on the basis of an epoxy resin, and 40 to 50 parts by weight of conductive particles.

Method for producing a bonded bow contact for current collectors

The invention relates to a sensor device for indicating wear states on contact bodies of pantographs of electrically driven vehicles, said contact bodies being fixed to metallic supports. The aim of the invention is to provide a sensor device that permits, at practically any location on the contact strip, the installation of signal transmitters that can indicate the respective wear state of the contact strip without interrupting the driving operation. To this end, the invention employs the use of a sensor device characterized in that it is comprised of blind holes () made in the contact bodies (), of transmission channels () that are connected to the blind holes (), and of a monitoring unit, whereby the blind holes () and monitoring unit are connected via the transmission channels (). In addition, a medium that generates signals in the instance of a specified wear state is located inside the blind holes (), and a medium that transmits these signals to the monitoring unit is located inside the transmission channel.
