A tool for removing a chisel, in particular from a chisel holder, having a base element which receives an actuating member, wherein the actuating member has an expeller mandrel. The actuating member is adjustable along a displacement direction. In order to be able to perform the removal simply and rapidly, the actuating member of this invention is indirectly or directly coupled to a piston of a fluid-charged cylinder, or to an electric motor unit.

Tool for removing a chisel

A tool holder including a tool box with a tool seat in a holding projection for receiving a tool in such a manner that it can be replaced. The tool seat is configured as a bore and has a tool insertion opening. The tool holder has a fastening side with a fastening projection and, facing away from said fastening side, an exterior, and during use of the tool centrifugal forces are effective in the direction from the fastening side to the exterior. This invention ensures the free rotatability of a tool inserted in the tool holder even if overburden material enters the tool seat. For this purpose, the holding projection has an opening penetrating the inner wall of the tool seat and creating a spatial connection to the exterior, and the opening opens the tool seat towards the exterior.

A road milling machine having a milling roller with a plurality of chisels. A signal receiving unit is assigned to a machine component which is directly or indirectly involved in the milling process or to another machine component. The signal receiving unit detects an operating condition of the machine component and is connected to a signal emitting unit. An optical detecting device may be assigned to the road milling machine, whereby operations are made easier and the milling pattern is optimized.

A chisel holder system including a base part and a chisel holder. The base part includes a socket wherein the chisel holder with a plug-in insert is introduced. The chisel holder has a bearing surface supported on a supporting surface of the base plate, and the base part has a shoulder connected to the supporting surface. A replacement chamber is formed between the shoulder and a facing end surface of the chisel holder. According to this invention, the supporting surface is placed in the transition region in relation to the shoulder by at least one recess of the shoulder so that the flat-shaped connection between the supporting surface and the shoulder, in the region of the recess, is interrupted in order to optimize the resistance to wear and tear of the base part.

Chisel holder system

A fixing device for a shank chisel including a base part to which a chisel holder is attached in a manner that enables it to be exchanged. The chisel holder has a chisel location for the shank chisel and has a supporting face on which the shank chisel can be supported. The chisel holder is coupled to the base part by a pivot bearing, and the chisel holder rests against a mating face of the base part. This invention provides a stress-optimized design for the above-mentioned arrangement. Thus, according to this invention, when the chisel holder is mounted, a contact area formed between the contact face and the mating face is located between a rotation axis or a rotation path of the pivot bearing and the supporting face.

Fixing device for a shank chisel

A round shaft chisel with a clamping sleeve, wherein the round shaft chisel has a chisel head and a chisel shaft rotatably maintained in the clamping sleeve. A pivot bearing is between an inner contour of the clamping sleeve and a shaft contour of the chisel shaft so that a center longitudinal axis of the round shaft chisel is pivotably seated with respect to a center longitudinal axis of the clamping sleeve. As a result of the induced tumbling motion of the round shaft chisel within the clamping sleeve, improved dirt removal can be assured during operations. The improved rolling action results in reduced wear between the clamping sleeve and the chisel shaft, which has advantageous results regarding the service life.

Chisel holder

A cutting tool of a cutting machine having a base part and a bit holder. According to this invention, the bit holder has a plug-in attachment, retained in a socket of the base part that has a stop against which the bit holder rests. To prevent the penetration of water and stone dust and to allow the bit holder to be easily detached from the base part, a sealing element is located between the bit holder and the base part, surrounding at least sections of the socket.
