One or more example embodiments of the present invention relates to a method for providing vessel wall-related data. The method includes receiving spectral computed tomography data of an examination region, the examination region having a vessel; calculating a representation of a vessel wall of the vessel and at least one parameter map of the examination region based on the spectral computed tomography data; calculating the vessel wall-related data based on the representation of the vessel wall and the at least one parameter map of the examination region; and providing the vessel wall-related data.

Methods and systems for providing vessel wall-related data

At least one vascular tree supplying at least a part of the hollow organ in the computed tomography dataset is segmented, and a tree structure up to an order possible based on the blood vessel segmentation result is determined from a blood vessel segmentation result. Perfusion information for each edge in the tree structure is assigned as at least one of the computed tomography data assigned to the blood vessel segment or at least one value derived therefrom. Adjacent hollow organ segments of the hollow organ are defined based on supply by adjacent blood vessels in the tree structure, and the tree structure and the perfusion information are analyzed to determine hemodynamic information to assign to hollow organ segments. At least a part of the hemodynamic information in at least one of the computed tomography dataset or a visualization dataset derived therefrom is then visualized.

A method is for computed tomography imaging. In an embodiment, the method includes provisioning a CT data set of an object, the CT data set being previously recorded via a multispectral recording method; suppressing a contrast, caused by a tissue type, and generating a contrast-suppressed data set from the CT data set provisioned; and analyzing at least the contrast-suppressed data set generated or a data set generated via a machine learning algorithm based on the contrast-suppressed data set, the analyzing being configured to identify at least one change in the tissue type. An autonomous catheterization assembly includes a catheter arrangement for insertion into the vascular system of a patient. In an embodiment, the catheter arrangement includes a sensor arrangement to sense a condition in the interior of a vessel of the vascular system, a shape adjustment device arranged in a distal portion of the catheter arrangement, and an actuator arrangement to control the shape adjustment device to adjust the shape and/or orientation of the distal portion of the catheter arrangement. The autonomous catheterization assembly further includes a propulsion assembly to propel elements of the catheter arrangement through the vascular system of the patient; a route computation module to compute a route through the vascular system to a target; and a control unit to actuate the propulsion assembly based upon the computed route and/or in response to a sensed condition in the interior of a vessel of the vascular system.
