Coating composition for sealing surfaces

The present invention pertains to a stabilized hot melt adhesive containing a) one or more hot melt adhesive materials and b) a stabilizer composition. The one or more hot melt adhesive materials a) include a polyolefin, a styrene-isoprene-styrene block co-polymer, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block co-polymer, a polyacrylate, an acryl-copolymer, an ethylene vinyl acetate, a polyamide, a polyester, a polyurethane, a polyimide, a silane terminated polyolefin, a silane terminated poly-ether, and a silane terminated polyurethane. The stabilizer composition includes a component (B), which is a polymeric sterically hindered amine, and a component (C), which is a specific sterically hindered phenol.

Stabilization of hot melt adhesives

The present invention relates to a hardenable polymer composition containing at least one acrylate compound, at least one silyl-terminated polymer and at least one photoinitiator, to the use of the polymer composition as or in an adhesive, a sealant, gasket, knifing filler or coating composition, and to an adhesive composition, a sealant composition, a gasket composition, a knifing filler composition or a coating composition comprising the polymer composition.

Hardenable polymer composition

The present invention relates to a stabilizer composition containing at least one sterically hindered amine (HALS) in which the amino group carries a basicity-reducing substituent, at least one antioxidant containing one or more thioether groups and at least one liquid plasticizer containing carboxylate groups. The invention further relates to a polymer composition containing at least one sterically hindered amine (HALS) in which the amino group carries a basicity-reducing substituent, at least one antioxidant containing one or more thioether groups, at least one liquid plasticizer containing carboxylate groups and at least one silyl-terminated polymer, to the use of the stabilizer composition for stabilizing a silyl-terminated polymer or a sealant, adhesive, gasket, knifing filler or coating composition, especially a sealant, adhesive, gasket, knifing filler or coating composition containing a silyl-terminated polymer, against degradation by heat, light and/or oxygen, to the use of the polymer composition as or in a sealant, adhesive, liquid gasket, knifing filler or coating composition, and to a sealant composition or an adhesive composition, or a gasket composition, or a knifing filler composition or a coating composition comprising the polymer composition.

Stabilizer composition

The present invention pertains to a stabilized hot melt adhesive containing a) one or more hot melt adhesive materials and b) a stabilizer composition. The one or more hot melt adhesive materials a) include a polyolefin, a styrene-isoprene-styrene block co-polymer, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block co-polymer, a polyacrylate, an acryl-copolymer, an ethylene vinyl acetate, a polyamide, a polyester, a polyurethane, a polyimide, a silane terminated polyolefin, a silane terminated poly-ether, and a silane terminated polyurethane. The stabilizer composition includes two or three of a component (A) which is a specific sterically hindered amine, a component (B) which is a polymeric sterically hindered amine, and a component (C) which is a specific sterically hindered phenol.

A curable resin composition including (I) at least one thermoset resin composition; and (II) at least one hardener; wherein the powder coating has a balance of properties including a combination of high glass transition temperature and low water absorption.

Coating compositions

A curable epoxy resin composite composition including a reinforcing material and an epoxy resin composition, and a process for preparing a composite from such composition; wherein a combination of at least one alkanolamine and at least one styrenated phenol are present in the epoxy resin composition in a sufficient amount to increase the rate of reaction of the at least one epoxy resin and the at least one alkanolamine curing agent while maintaining the thermal and mechanical properties of the composite upon curing of the epoxy resin composition.

Curable epoxy resin compositions and composites made therefrom

A curable resin composition for composites and electrical laminates including (I) at least one thermoset resin composition; (II) at least one hardener; and (III) at least one reinforcing material; wherein the composite or electrical laminate has a balance of properties including a combination of (a) a Tg of at least about 150&#xb0; C.; and (b) a water uptake of less than about 2.5 wt %.
