A system for coating printing materials with coating fluids and a method for operating the system include, in a first step, coating printing material with a first coating fluid using a coating device of the system and keeping a first feed device of the system connected to the coating device for feeding the first coating fluid to the coating device using the first feed device. In a second step following the first step, printing material is coated with a second coating fluid using the coating device and a second feed device of the system is kept connected to the coating device for feeding the second coating fluid to the coating device using the second feed device. In a third step carried out after the first step and, at least to some extent, during the second step, the first feed device is flushed through with a cleaning fluid.

Printing material coating system and method for operating the system

A device for generating an air stream in a duplicating machine, in particular in a printing machine, has at least one fan unit, which includes at least one ionic fan. Methods for guiding and depositing flat products, in particular print carriers, in duplicating machines are also provided. Further, a method for the zonal powdering of print carriers in duplicating machines is provided. A delivery configuration, in particular for printing machines, is also provided.

Method and device for generating an air stream in a duplicating machine

A method of operating equipment for coating printing materials in a printing press includes providing equipment made up of at least one metering system and a circulating line system associated with the metering system for at least one liquid medium received in at least one container. The circulating line system also has a pump subsystem with at least one feed pump for feeding the liquid medium from the container to the metering system, and at least one return pump for returning the liquid medium from the metering system into the container. Furthermore, a feed line is disposed between the metering system and the feed pump. In order to preferably completely empty at least the feed line, the steps of shutting off a medium connection between the feed pump and the container and connecting a suction side of the feed pump to a space having a gaseous medium, for sucking in the gaseous medium by the feed pump and, as viewed in pumping direction of the feed pump, for pumping the gaseous medium into the feed line, are carried out. Equipment to be operated according the method is also provided.

Equipment for coating printing materials in a printing press, and method of operating the equipment

A coating system for coating print carriers includes at least one pump, at least one selection valve, a first metering device and a second metering device. The first metering device and the second metering device are constructed differently from one another with respect to metering principles thereof. The pump and the selection valve are assembled into a modular supply unit constructed so as to be compatible both with the first and with the second metering device. A coating machine, such as a printing or varnishing machine which includes the coating system, is also provided.

A delivery for a sheet processing printing machine having a delivery housing and a sheet conveyor substantially enclosed by the delivery housing, the delivery housing being formed with an opening at the underside thereof through which, operationally, sheets leave the delivery housing for forming a sheet pile, and a suction line connected to the interior of the delivery housing, the suction line having a negative pressure prevailing operationally therein, includes motor-driven fluid flow machines for acquiring air flows leaving the delivery housing through the opening and for generating air flows returning into the delivery housing.
