Disclosed is a retaining device for retaining a number of plugs and for arranging on a wall passage. In some embodiments, the retaining device comprises a number of substantially identically sized through-holes. In some embodiments, a modular element comprises an outer interface region for receiving the modular element in one of the through-holes. In some embodiments, the modular element comprises an inner interface region for receiving one of the plugs in the modular element.

A plug connector for connecting to an electric connection of a fuel injector of an internal combustion engine can comprise a rail extending in a longitudinal direction and at least one insulating element arranged in a linearly movable manner in the longitudinal direction relative to the rail, wherein the at least one insulating element protrudes out of the rail in a transverse direction. In some embodiments, the at least one insulating element comprises means for electrically connecting to the electric connection of the fuel injector in an oil-tight and releasable manner on a side facing away from the rail in the transverse direction. In some embodiments, the rail comprises a guide extending in the longitudinal direction configured to guide the at least one insulating element relative to the rail in the longitudinal direction and hold the same in a formfitting manner in the transverse direction relative to the rail.

A plug-and-socket connector with an electrically conductive female contact for receiving a contact pin and for establishing an electrically conductive connection to the contact pin is described. According to implementations here, the female contact is accessible by an opening in the plug-and-socket connector. Further, a closure element for closing the opening is movably supported inside the female contact.

A plug-in unit (, FIG.A) with a housing () that receives an electrical contact arrangement (, FIG.) that has a cable bushing (, FIG.A). The housing has an aperture () in a housing wall for the plugged-in reception of the mating plug-in unit (, FIG.). In order to allow for the optional design of an angled or a linear plug-in connection, the cuboid housing (, FIG.A) is divided along a plane () that runs perpendicular to a longitudinal central plane () and at a 45&#xb0; angle to the longitudinal extension of a bushing () in such a way that a first housing part () contains the cable bushing () and the second housing part () forms the plug-in aperture (). The second housing part () is attached to the first housing part so the second housing part () can be turned with respect to the first housing part ().

Plug-in unit
