A method is disclosed including receiving data transmissions indicative of data to be transmitted via the wireless communication network and obtaining physical channel information indicative of one or more parameters representing channel information and/or quality information associated with at least one physical channel used for transmitting the data transmissions to one or more mobile devices of the wireless communication network. The method also includes scheduling the data transmissions based at least partially on the physical channel information. A tentative scheduling grant is determined for at least a part of the data transmissions to be encoded tentatively. The method also includes encoding at least a part of the data transmissions, which is performed and/or controlled in a tentatively upon reception of the data transmissions, and the data transmissions are encoded based on the tentative scheduling grant. The method further includes outputting the encoded data transmissions upon completion of the encoding.

Scheduling in wireless communication networks

Apparatuses and methods in a communication system are provided. The solution comprises operating a radio access network, where the radio access network comprises two or more resource tiers, each tier having different latency/timing requirements. The resource allocation for the radio access network is realised () with two or more control loops, where each control loop is configured to allocate resources with different latency requirements, and control resources between the tiers. Resources of the inmost tier are controlled () by an inmost control loop with lowest latency resource allocation, and resources of the outer tiers are controlled () by one or more outer control loops for less latency critical resource allocation, each outer control loop having less critical latency requirement compared to loops closer to the inmost loop.

Disclosed is a method for triggering retransmission in a multicast system, including a base station eNB setting a retransmission condition based on a channel state indication and transmitting the set retransmission condition to a user equipment UE; and the UE comparing the current channel state indication of the UE with the received retransmission condition when receiving an error block, and feeding back a NACK signaling to the eNB trigger a retransmission when the retransmission condition is satisfied.
