A displaceable system is provided including at least one set of at least two wheels arranged in pairs for movement in a plane, the set being disposed on at least one wheel axle parallel to the plane. A single electric drive motor, a differential having variable torque distribution, and an electric servomotor are provided on the wheel axle for both wheels of a set. The electrical servomotor acts on the differential such that the torque generated by the single electric drive motor is distributed within the wheel axle individually to the wheels.

Movable system

A monitoring system for rail-borne transportation of goods or people in at least one car. The one or more cars may, for example, be railway cars or tram cars which are moved in the public rail system. The monitoring system according to the invention first of all includes a generator mount, which is integrated in at least one wheel bearing of the car. The generator mount is therefore used on the one hand as the bearing for a wheel of the car, and on the other hand to produce electrical energy, as a result of which it forms a power supply unit. The components which are required to produce the electrical voltage in the generator mount are integrated in the mount. One of these components is formed by a conductor arrangement which is used for induction of an electrical voltage to be generated. The monitoring system according to the invention furthermore includes sensor electronics, which are electrically connected to the conductor arrangement, for determining measurement variables which act on the conductor arrangement. As a result, the generator mount furthermore forms a sensor.

Monitoring system for trackbound goods or passengers transported in a railcar

A force-moment sensor () is used as a switch, with which, depending on the introduction of forces and moments onto an operating part () of the force-moment sensor (), software or hardware functions of a device (') to be controlled are triggered. For this purpose, the output signals of the force-moment sensor () are analysed by comparisons with threshold values. The selection of a device or a function thereof does not have to be chosen in advance, but takes place while introducing a force or a moment into the sensor. The introduced forces or moments in each degree of freedom of the sensor are analysed. The selection of the device or function coincides with the driving. The device can thus be simplified since no special facilities for selecting devices or functions must be provided. Additionally, the selection and driving are accelerated by this temporal coincidence.

Selection of software and hardware functions with a force/torque sensor

Arrangement for the detection of relative movements or relative positions of two objects

To trigger technical control operations and/or to trigger the execution of technical functions, a manually operated input device with a torque-force sensor is used. Pressure is exerted onto a user interface of this input device and results in the generation of a pulse, which is measured with the aid of the force-torque sensor and converted into a pair of vectors formed by a force vector and a moment vector. This vector pair is then checked to determine whether certain predefined characteristic pulse conditions have been met. If these predefined pulse conditions are identified as having been met, at least one technical control operation that is to be performed by means of the input device and linked to a certain object, and/or at least one technical function to be executed by means of the input device, is triggered by switching to an activation state.

Process for performing operations using a 3D input device

For sensing the relative movements of an object a force sensing unit ( ) comprises a stationary supporting means ( ) and a cap ( ) located movable relative to said supporting means as well as a force/moment sensor ( ) for sensing the three possible translational and three possible rotational movements of the cap relative to said supporting means. Device for sensing relative movements between an object and a baseplate

A gear unit in which a cable, band or similar device is fitted between the drive and the output in order to transform a fast rotational movement at the drive end, which is limited in both directions, into a slow rotational movement at the output end. The cable is fastened at both ends to an oscillating intermediary single-piece divided into two segments, and rests against the outer walls of the intermediary piece and is wound around the shaft of the drive so as to transfer a driving torque. A position sensor is assigned to the inner segment of the intermediary piece, and/or a torque sensor is mounted between both segments of the intermediary piece. A fast rotational movement of the drive is transformed into a slow rotational movement without play, and provides a good synchronization characteristic.

Gear unit

An apparatus for converting a rotary motion into an axial motion, is used as overload protection; the force transmitting elements of the conversion apparatus, in the form of a threaded spindle, a nut and/or the intervening planetary rollers and roller bodies, are made with different contours of deformable, preferably elastically deformable material.
