Method for vulcanising a tyre blank

A dynamic underbalance sub for use in a wellbore may include a sub housing, a first chamber provided in an interior of the sub housing, an opening extending through the sub housing and configured such that the first chamber is in fluid communication with an exterior of the sub housing, a second chamber provided in the interior of the sub housing, and a pressure-isolating wall provided between the first chamber and the second chamber.

Dynamic underbalance sub

According to some embodiments, a shaped charge inlay includes an upper edge that extends inward and horizontal to an edge of a shaped charge casing associated with a shaped charge. The shaped charge includes an existing liner and the shaped charge inlay further includes a body that extends inward toward an apex of the existing liner. The shaped charge inlay may be disposed above the existing liner in the shaped charge, to disrupt collapse of the existing liner upon detonation of the shaped charge and thereby change the geometry of a perforating jet and resulting perforation created by the shaped charge. The perforation holes formed by shaped charges having the shaped charge inlay may have geometries that include constant open areas to flow in the target when the perforating gun is centralized or decentralized in a wellbore casing.

Perforating gun system and method of use

A shaped charge liner may include an apex portion and a skirt portion extending from the apex portion. The skirt portion may include a body connected to the apex portion, a perimeter spaced apart from the apex portion, and a carbide layer extending between and spaced apart from the perimeter and the apex portion. A shaped charge for creating a perforation hole in a wellbore casing may include a shaped charge liner having at least one material having hardness that is greater than a corresponding hardness of the wellbore casing. The at least one material is configured to bond to at least one of an outer surface and an inner surface of the perforation hole upon detonation of the shaped charge and penetration of the casing by a perforation jet.

Inlay for shaped charge and method of use

A device for vulcanizing vehicle tires uses a heating press and an internal bladder that is supplied with vaporous heating medium. In order to assure that the measurement of the vulcanization temperature is effected at the relevant locations of the internal heater, there is provided a temperature sensor in the form of a radiation thermometer or pyrometer that is disposed in the bladder cavity. The pyrometer takes an indirect temperature measurement for at least one location on the interior wall of the bladder by measuring a radiant energy emitted from the interior of the bladder.
