The invention relates to a strain-measuring structure, comprising a carrier, which is divided into regions along the predetermined breaking points only after being joined to the object to be measured. After the separation along the predetermined breaking points, the regions individually joined in the joining zones can be moved freely relative to one another in the event of strain of the object, without the strain-measuring structure applying significant forces to the object to be measured, which could distort the strain measurement. Measuring assemblies for measuring strain lie between the regions. Said measuring assemblies can be based on different principles, depending on the application. The invention further relates to a method for producing the strain-measuring structure, to a method for measuring the strain of objects, and to the use of the structure to measure strain. The invention further preferably relates to a system comprising the strain-measuring structure and a control device for reading out and preferably activating and joining the structure.

A loading state determiner for determining a loading state of an electric power source including a source impedance includes a voltage drop determination circuit which is implemented to provide, based on a detection of an instantaneous current provided under load by the power source to a load, an electric quantity describing a voltage drop at a source impedance of the power source. Further, the loading state determiner includes an evaluation circuit which is implemented to obtain, based on electric quantity describing the voltage drop at the source impedance of the power source and an electric quantity describing a terminal voltage of the power source, a load state signal carrying information on an instantaneous relation between the terminal voltage of the power source and a no-load voltage of the power source.

A rotational rate gyroscope for detecting rotation thereof comprises a base member, a primary oscillator supported by its primary oscillator suspension so as to be movable with respect to the base member, and a secondary oscillator supported by a secondary oscillator suspension, separate from primary oscillator suspension, so as to be movable with respect to the primary oscillator. The secondary oscillator suspension is designed such that movement that can be applied to the primary oscillator can be transferred to the secondary oscillator, whereas the movement of the secondary oscillator effected by the Coriolis force substantially is not transferred back to the primary oscillator. In addition thereto, the major surfaces of the primary oscillator and of the secondary oscillator extend substantially in the same plane, with the movement of the primary oscillator and/or of the secondary oscillator also taking place in this plane.
