A method for controlling a temperature in an interior of a vehicle is provided, wherein the temperature in the vehicle interior is determined with the aid of infrared radiation emitted by the fitments or in the interior, and the air conditioning is adjusted accordingly. A vehicle which is configured to carry out the method is furthermore provided.

Control of the temperature in the interior of a vehicle

An interior trim for a passenger compartment of a vehicle includes a first carrier, which has an inner side, facing the passenger compartment, and an outer side, directed away from the passenger compartment. A heating element is arranged on the outer side. It is proposed to arrange a matrix and a filler in the first carrier. The filler has a thermal conductivity that is higher than that of the matrix so that heat generated by the heating element can be directed through the filler into the passenger compartment.

A vehicle air-conditioning system and a method for operating that vehicle air-conditioning system in dependence on the difference between the temperature of the engine coolant at the inlet into the heating heat exchanger and the temperature of the air at the outlet out of the heating heat exchanger are provided. The measured or estimated temperatures of the coolant at the inlet into the heating heat exchanger and of the air at the outlet out of the heating heat exchanger are checked to determine whether their values indicate fault states of components of the air-conditioning system.

Vehicle air-conditioning system and method of operation

An air ducting system is provided for ducting an air flow emerging from an air vent, which serves to introduce an air flow directly into a passenger compartment of a vehicle, to a measuring device for measuring of at least one parameter of the air flow. The measuring device includes at least one collector unit for collecting the air flow emerging from the air vent, which can be arranged on the air vent in such a way that a contact face of the collector unit completely encloses at least one outlet aperture of the air vent. In order to improve a measurement of at least one parameter of the air flow, the air ducting system comprises at least two air duct units of different design, either of which can be connected to and non-destructively detached from the collector unit.

A temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of a surface of the heat exchanger of a motor vehicle air conditioning system. The sensor includes a sensor housing constructed for assembly in an opening of a heat exchanger housing and having a sensor head constructed for thermal contact with a heat exchanger surface. The sensor head is configured to have thermal contact only with the outer ends of cooling ribs of the heat exchanger or only with a thermally conductive plate which connects cooling ribs.

Temperature sensor for the heat exchanger of a motor vehicle air conditioning system

The subject of the present invention is a motor control system having a monitoring circuit for monitoring PWM control for a DC electric motor, the PWM control comprising a power end stage having at least one field effect transistor, which controls the current at the DC electric motor. The motor control system is designed to monitor the current at the DC electric motor. The motor control system detects the voltage drop across the field effect transistor and comprises a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the field effect transistor. Furthermore, the motor control system is designed to determine the resistance of the field effect transistor from the detected temperature thereof, and to determine the current at the DC electric motor from the resistance of the field effect transistor and from the voltage drop across the field effect transistor.

The invention relates to a collector tube () for a heat transfer unit. The tube comprises one or several slits () on the periphery thereof, whereby said slits are formed by a punch press without an inner die or by high-pressure shaping for inserting a respective flat tube. The invention also relates to a method for producing said collector tube (). According to the invention, a collector tube () is provided with an outer radius (D/2) to tube wall thickness (s) ratio of less than 5. The slits () are introduced preferably parallel to, or at an acute 2 angle to the longitudinal axis of the tube. The collection tube can be produced by bending a flat material and subsequently sealing the longitudinal slits arising from the bending process by soldering or welding. Said collector tube can be used, e.g. for gas coolers and evaporators for COair conditioning systems in motor vehicles.

Collector tube for a heat transfer unit and method for producing same

A multiblock heat-transfer system including a first heat-transfer unit and at least a second heat transfer unit mounted onto the first heat-transfer unit. The first heat transfer unit contains a first heat-transfer tubular block with at least a first collecting chamber at the side. The second heat-transfer unit contains a second heat-transfer tubular block with at least a second collecting chamber at the side. The first and second collecting chamber each consist of their own collecting pipe, and both collecting pipes are inserted into each other at their front faces and are connected in a fluid-tight manner. In the pipe connection area, the external diameter of one of the collecting pipes approximately matches the internal diameter of the other collecting pipe, and a transverse partition is provided for separating the two collecting chambers.

Multiblock heat-transfer system

The invention relates to an air conditioning unit with a coolant circuit which consists of a compressor, an evaporator, a collector located at the low pressure side between the evaporator and the compressor and an inner heat transfer unit with a beat transfer channel located at the high pressure side and a low pressure side beat transfer channel. According to the invention, the inner heat transfer unit has an at least segmentally spiraling and/or spiral-shaped steps between the outer and inner pipe of a coaxial pipe system. Additionally or alternatively, the inner heat transfer unit contains a multiple channel line which surrounds the collector in a spiral fashion and/or in which a low pressure side pipe longitudinal channel has a first segment which exits into said collector housing and a second segment which exits out of the said collector housing in addition to a high-pressure side pipe longitudinal channel which traverses the collector housing or leads into a first segment in a high-pressure execution chamber of said collector housing and a second segment leads out of the said chamber. Said invention can be used as a CO -air conditioning unit in vehicles.

The invention relates to a heat transmission unit for a motor vehicle, comprising a fan cowling ( ) and at least one heat exchanger ( ) connected thereto. In order to provide an improved heat transmission unit which can be especially produced in an economical manner an which enables easy connection to the heat exchanger to the fan cowling especially during pre-assembly of the cooling module, the heat exchanger ( ) is maintained on the fan cowling ( ) by means of its manifolds ( ).

Heat transmission unit for a motor vehicle

An optimized CO air-conditioning system for a vehicle has individual components designed and/or matched to one another in such a way that if the high pressures in the high-pressure section deviate by up to &plusmn;30% from the optimum high pressures, the associated optimum performance figures are reduced by no more than 20%. The individual components include a controllable compressor, a gas cooler, an internal heat exchanger, an evaporator and an accumulator. As a result, a fixed throttle expansion member can be used between the high-pressure and low-pressure sections of the system.

Optimized CO2 operated air-conditioning system

A flat tube for use in a heat exchanger includes a reversal bend section connected between parallel extending tube sections. The reversal bend section extends from a plane of the tube sections by a distance less than a width of the tube sections. The tube sections can be straight or serpentine. A plurality of the flat tubes can be stacked and connected to collector tubes to form a heat exchanger for use as an evaporator in a vehicle air conditioning system. Corrugated ribs are positioned between adjacent flat tubes for increased heat conduction.

An air-conditioning system operated with CO for a vehicle has a high-pressure section that is connected to the output of a compressor and includes a gas cooler, a low-pressure section that is connected to the suction side of the compressor and includes an evaporator, and an expansion member connecting the high-pressure section and the low-pressure section. The expansion member has a fixed restrictor with a throttle opening of predetermined length and diameter connected between an inlet from the high-pressure section and an outlet to the low-pressure section whereby under all operating conditions of the system, a pressure of refrigerant in the high-pressure section of the system is limited to values of less than 14 MPa. The restrictor can be connected in parallel with a pressure limiting valve and can include two or more different throttle openings that can be selectively connected for refrigerant flow.

A heat exchanger block includes a plurality of block units, located one behind the other, each having a plurality of stacked tube units with tube ducts extending transverse to the block depth and height. The tube ducts are connected at ends to associated collector ducts extending in the block height direction. The tube units can be formed from a multichamber flat tube. At least one collector-duct connection is provided between adjacent block units to form a meandering flow path through the heat exchanger block. The heat exchanger block can be used as an evaporator in a motor vehicle air-conditioning system.

A multichannel flat tube for a heat exchanger has a plurality of parallel flow channels aligned in a row, side by side, along a transverse axis of the tube. At least the inner flow channels have oval cross-sections, and major semiaxes of the inner flow channels are inclined relative to the transverse axis of the tube at an acute angle. The flat tube can be designed for high operating pressures with relatively low weight and relatively high heat exchange capability. The construction may be used, for example, in CO air conditioners in motor vehicles.
