A process medium-controlled regulating valve for a liquid throughflow regulator, having a main valve, a pilot valve for controlling a main valve piston, a pilot valve piston which closes the pressure relief line in a closed position, a cleaning wire element which is stationary in the axial direction is guided with hole tolerance through the pilot line, and the pilot line can be moved along the cleaning wire element, which is guided therein, during a stroke adjustment of the main valve piston. The cleaning wire element has an actuating contour which, at least during the stroke adjustment, can be brought into sliding contact with a counter-contour formed on the main valve piston, with the build-up of a transverse force which acts on the cleaning wire element.

Process medium-controlled regulating valve

A shower head or lateral shower head is provided for installation in a ceiling or wall, having a pivotable jet-producing device which is mounted in a ball housing by a ball-and-socket joint through which water flows, the housing surrounding the jet-producing device and being arranged in a manner both tiltable and displaceable in a direction perpendicular to the ceiling or wall, and the housing having an outer flange which extends to the surface of the ceiling or wall. A connection element is provided between a water connection and the ball housing.

Overhead or lateral shower head

A hand shower has a handle having an outer part extending along a handle axis and having an outer face and a shower head forming at least one spray opening directed along a spray axis extending nonparallel to the handle axis. A pivot between the handle and shower head allows pivoting of the head on the handle about a pivot axis inclined at 30&deg; to 90&deg; to the handle axis, normally 45&deg;. The pivot axis extends at an angle between 35&deg; and 50&deg; to the spray axis.

Multiposition hand shower

In a shower-head holder having a bracket ( ) fixed on a wall or on a wall rod and a holder body ( ) pivotal on a pin ( ), the holder body ( ) having at lest one friction face that bears under an adjustable spring force on at least one surface fixed rotationally on the bracket ( ), it is proposed that the pin ( ) be angularly fixed to the bracket ( ), the holder body ( ) engaging around the pin ( ) with a sleeve ( ) and being connected via a plate-type brake with the bracket.

Shower fitting holder

A shower has an elongated C-section holder tube having a laterally open full-length slot open at both ends, a bracket securing the holder tube to the wall, and a shower head. The head has a guide part snugly engageable in and slidable along the holder tube, a narrow neck projecting laterally from the guide part out of the tube through the slot thereof, and a spray part provided with spray holes and mounted on the neck outside the tube. A hose has an inner end connected to the guide part and communicating therethrough with the spray part and an outer end connectable to a source of water under pressure for spraying water from the holes of the spray part. The head is slidable along the holder tube with the hose extending from the guide part inside the holder tube and out of the open end of the holder tube.

Wall-mount adjustable bath hand shower

A shower fixture has a base adapted to be fixed to a wall, connected to a pressurized-water supply, and having a pressurized water outlet. A pair of generally parallel and spaced tubes have inner ends pivotal about an inner horizontal axis on the base and outer ends. At least one of the tubes is internally connected at the base to the outlet so that pressurized water can flow from the supply through the base to the tube. An element joins together the two tubes for joint pivoting. A shower head mounted between the outer ends is pivotal on the tube about an outer horizontal axis and is connected internally at the outer axis to the one tube so that water from the one tube can flow into the head.

Pivotal dual-head shower fixture

A holder bracket for securing a hand shower to a stationary rod centered on a rod axis has a support body having structure forming a forwardly open seat for the hand shower and formed with a throughgoing laterally closed passage through which the rod passes and, to one side of the axis, with at least one rib bearing radially on the rod. A retaining element mounted on the support body to the other side of the axis bears radially on the rod opposite to the rib. A compressible member engaged between the retaining element and the body presses the element radially against the body and thereby compresses the rod between the element and the rib.

Rod-mounted holder bracket for hand shower

A mixing valve has a valve housing formed with a seat, a flow-controlling valve cartridge fitted to the seat, and a cover engageable over the cartridge, pivotal on the cartridge about a first axis, and formed with an aperture. A handle engaging through the aperture with the cartridge is pivotal through an arc of less than 360.degree. about the first axis with the cover for controlling a characteristic of flow through the valve cartridge and is pivotal about a second axis generally perpendicular to the first axis for controlling another characteristic of flow through the valve cartridge. Interengaging formations on the cover and on the housing allow relative axial movement of the cover and the housing in an angular position of the cover relative to the housing outside the arc and prevent relative axial movement of the cover and the housing inside the arc.

Single-control mixing valve

A rod assembly for mounting a hand shower on a wall has a rod extending along a vertical rod axis, having axially opposite upper and lower ends, and formed adjacent one of the ends with a diametrally throughgoing hole and respective upper and lower substantially identical brackets each formed with a vertical inner end face adapted to lie flatly against the wall, a vertically throughgoing passage through which the respective end of the rod extends, and a horizontally throughgoing stepped bore having a narrow inner portion opening at the inner end face and a wide outer portion opening at the respective passage. One of the stepped bores is aligned with the rod hole. Respective upper and lower screws each have a narrow shank extending through the respective narrow bore portion into the wall and a wide head. One of the wide heads bears directly on the respective bracket between the rod and the respective inner end face. The other of the wide heads bears radially on the rod at the hole and retains same axially in the respective passage.

Wall-mount rod for hand shower

A faucet has a base provided with a valve for supplying water under pressure and a tubular U-shaped spout having an inner end pivotal in the base and an opposite downwardly directed outer end forming a downwardly open seat. A hose has an inner end connected in the base to the water-supply valve, an intermediate portion extending through the tubular spout, and an outer end carrying an end fitting formed with a rearwardly directed abutment and fittable in the seat of the spout in a seated position with the abutment engaged against the spout outer end.

Hose-type pull-out faucet

A mixing valve has a housing, a valve cartridge fixed in the housing and having valve elements movable to vary rate and temperature of flow through the cartridge, and a handle connected to the valve elements and movable through a predetermined angular displacement about a temperature-adjustment axis to vary the temperature of flow through the cartridge and a flow-adjustment axis orthogonal to the temperature-adjustment axis to vary the rate of flow through the cartridge. A sleeve-like casing surrounding the cartridge is rotatable on the housing about one of the axes and is traversed by the handle. Interengaging formations on the casing and on the housing axially retain the casing on the housing except in a predetermined angular position of the casing on the housing relative to the one axis. The predetermined angular position corresponds to an orientation of the casing on the housing outside any position assumed by the casing during pivoting of the handle through the predetermined angular displacement about the one axis. Thus the casing can be installed on the housing in the predetermined angular position and then rotated out of the predetermined angular position to lock it axially on the housing.

Single-control mixing valve with pivotal casing

A hand-shower wall rod has vertically spaced and horizontally extending upper and lower brackets secured to a wall and a vertical tube with upper and lower ends respectively seated in the brackets. A soap-dish fixture has a body having a lower end formed as a soap dish and an upper end formed as an eye engaged around the lower bracket. The body is swivelable about a horizontal central axis of the lower bracket. A spring unit releasably holds the body in a normal position with the lower end below the lower bracket.

Soap dish for use with hand-shower wall rod assembly

An adjustable shower assembly has a housing provided with a water-supply tube defining a seat, a core element fixed in the seat and having a stem extending from the seat along an axis and having an outer end formed with a noncircular boss generally centered on the axis, and a diverter formed with a central bore fitted over the stem and provided with at least two throughgoing passages. The diverter is at least limitedly rotatable on the stem. An end plate is formed with at least two sets of nozzles associated with the respective passages in respective angular positions of the diverter on the core element and formations on the end plate and diverter axially and rotationally fix the end plate on the diverter. A washer having a central hole complementary to and interfitting with the boss of the stem bears axially backward on the diverter and a screw threaded axially into the stem and bearing axially backward on the washer retains the diverter and end plate axially on the core element.

Adjustable hand-shower assembly

A rod assembly for mounting a hand shower on a wall has an elongated rod formed at each end with a transversely throughgoing and laterally closed hole and respective holder bodies each formed with a seat in which the respective end of the rod is complementarily engageable. Each body is formed with a passage alignable with the hole of the respective rod end when same is fitted thereto. Respective screws engageable through the aligned holes and passages of the rod and bodies with the wall secure the rod to the bodies and the bodies to the wall.

A hand shower has a shower housing having an inner end formed centered on an axis with an axially open central recess and an outer end carrying a shower head. A male coupling part adapted to be fixed to the end of a supply hose has a tubular outlet end engageable axially in the housing inner end. A latch element can be displaced radially of the axis in the inner end between a holding position engaging and axially retaining the coupling part in the recess and a freeing position allowing the coupling part to move axially freely into and out of the recess. The housing has a central feed tube forming the inner and outer ends and at least one rigid outer housing part surrounding and completely enclosing the central feed tube. Furthermore the shower includes a pair of such latch elements radially oppositely displaceable between the positions. These elements can be fitted without soldering or fusing into the housing for a very inexpensive and simple assembly of the device.
