A connection unit for connecting at least one connection element includes: a housing; a first contact element; a second contact element arranged on an opposite side to the first contact element, at least one receiving space being formed between the first contact element and the second contact element for clamping the at least one connection element between the first contact element and the second contact element; and at least one finger guard element which covers at least some regions of the first contact element and the second contact element in a region of the at least one receiving space. The first contact element, the second contact element, and the finger guard element are borne in the housing in a floating manner.

Aspects herein relate to an attachable plug-type connector for attachment to a plate-like component part, in particular a device or housing wall, with an attachable housing and a contact carrier. In one implementation, the contact carrier may be arranged in the attachable housing and has at least one female or male contact in a plug-in section of the attachable plug-type connector and at least one connection element. Further, the attachable housing may have at least one plug-in stop and may include an attachable arrangement with a plate-like component part and an attachable plug-type connector.

A module having terminals for actuators and sensors includes a lower portion having at least one recess configured to receive a shape-coded ribbon cable, and an upper housing portion configured to receive a circuit board and to be disposed on the lower portion via a fastening device. The module further including a guidance device configured to cooperate with the first and second longitudinal sides of the upper housing portion so that the upper housing portion is guidable into an initial fastening position. Further, at least one of the upper housing portion and the lower portion include a contact device having at least one contact pin configured to at least partially penetrate the shape-coded ribbon cable when the shape-coded ribbon cable is received in the at least one recess so as to contact with the plurality of conductors when the upper housing portion is fastened to the lower portion.

Module having terminals for actuators and/or sensors

A connecting device for connecting an electrical cable to an electrical device is provided. The electrical cable is connected to a plug connector, preferably of the RJ-45 plug configuration, for plugging into a corresponding socket of the electrical device. The connecting device is easy to assembly and ensures that the electrical cable and the plug connector are protected from mechanical damage. The electrical cable can be introduced into a housing together with the plug connector and maintained therein in this introduced state. The electrical cable, or the plug connector that is connected to the electrical cable, can be fixed to the socket or to the electrical device by means of snap-in elements which are located on the housing.
