A hot gas exhaust recirculation valve includes a housing containing a duct for conducting gases, a drive chamber, and a valve stem which is mounted in the housing. The valve stem can be displaced in its longitudinal direction thereof and extends from the drive chamber into the duct. The end of the valve stem that is situated in the drive chamber is coupleable to a drive device. A closing body is fastened to the other end of the valve stem. The closing body is situated in the duct and has a closed position in which it separates an upstream section of the duct from a downstream section of the duct. A sealing ring surrounds the valve stem and is arranged between the duct and the drive chamber. The valve stem is supported within two bearing bushings that are spaced apart from each other, between which the sealing ring is arranged.

Valve

Described is an exhaust-gas switch, in particular for trucks, having a housing that has an inlet, a first outlet and a second outlet, having a shaft led out from the housing, and having a valve flap arranged in the housing that is pivotable about a geometric pivot axis by means of the shaft between a first position and a second position, the valve flap having a blocking portion that in the first position blocks the first outlet and in the second position blocks the second outlet. According to this disclosure, provision is made such that the valve flap bears a counterweight to the blocking portion, the geometric pivot axis being arranged between the blocking portion and the counterweight.

Exhaust-gas switch for a vehicle

This disclosure pertains to a control device for the coolant flow in a cooling circuit of an internal combustion engine with the following characteristics: a housing with an inlet opening, an outlet opening and a movable control element for varying the flow-through cross section of the channel; an annular seal arrangement comprising a sealing frame and a sealing ring is seated between a sealing surface of the housing and a sealing surface of the control element. According to this disclosure, it is proposed that the sealing ring rests against a plane sealing surface of the housing in a sealing fashion and meets this plane sealing surface along a contact line that encloses a first surface area. Depending on the flow direction through the seal arrangement, the sealing ring features a surface section that has a defined circumference referred to the length of the contact line between the sealing ring and the housing. The sealing surface of the sealing frame is perpendicularly projected into a plane of projection and thereby has an inner and/or outer boundary line, which respectively encloses a second or third surface area that has a certain relation to the first surface area.

Control device for the coolant flow in a cooling circuit of an internal combustion engine

A hot gas valve has a housing, in which a gas duct is formed with an inlet and an outlet, and a valve device for controlling the fluid flow through the gas duct. The housing has at least one cooling duct for liquid cooling of the housing, wherein the gas duct is shielded with respect to the housing by means of a thermal shield, which consists of a material which has a greater thermal stability than the material of which the housing consists. The valve device has a closure body situated in the gas duct, which closure body is held on a valve shaft mounted in the housing by means of at least one bearing. The bearing may consists of a material having good thermal conductivity. The valve shaft is sealed by an elastomer shaft sealing ring on the side of the bearing facing away from the gas duct.

Hot gas valve

An exhaust gate, in particular for a heavy-goods vehicle, has a housing, which has an inlet and first and second outlets, on which first and second valve seats are formed, and a valve flap, which can be pivoted between the two valve seats to close the first or second outlet. The housing is formed as a cast part, which connects the inlet and at least the first outlet integrally to each other. The valve flap has a larger cross section than the inlet and the first and second valve seats.

Exhaust gate

A thermostatic valve for controlling the temperature of the coolant in an internal combustion engine controls the flow of coolant between the internal combustion engine and a heat exchanger. The valve includes an actuation element which functions in a temperature-dependent manner for actuating lift of a main valve and of a bypass valve in a valve housing. The actuation element has a stationary piston supported on a valve housing part. A housing can be displaced relative to the piston and on which the valve members of the main valve and of the bypass valve are arranged. Further provided is a monitoring device for the position of the main valve, which works in a contactless manner and which has at least one sensor element contained in the valve housing part, and at least one associated permanent magnet for generating a magnetic field to which the sensor element is exposed.

Thermostatic valve for controlling the temperature of the coolant in an internal combustion engine

An exhaust line valve for an internal combustion engine. A closure body is arranged in a duct of the valve and is fastened to a shaft. The closure body when closed separates upstream and downstream duct sections. Two projections extend into the duct, each having a valve seat pointing in an opposite direction of the duct. By pivoting the closure body from its closed position, the sealing surfaces of the closure body are raised from their respective valve seats. A polymer seal is arranged on the valve seats and in the closed position the polymer seal sealingly contacts the associated sealing surface of the closure body. A circumferential surface of the shaft or the closure body is located in an edge region of the closure body. The polymer seal contacts in a sealing manner at least a region of the circumferential surface facing the upstream section of the duct.

Valve for an exhaust gas line of an internal combustion engine

A valve for an exhaust gas line of an internal combustion engine in which a closure body is arranged in a duct and is positioned in a recess of a shaft, the closure body being pivotable about a rotation axis of the shaft. The closure body has two sides and a circumferential surface arranged between the two sides. The circumferential surface has sections with different external dimensions. A first external dimension of the circumferential surface of the closure body in a first section is smaller than the smallest internal dimension between end regions of the recess of the shaft in which the closure body sits. A second external dimension of the circumferential surface in a second section is greater than the smallest internal dimension of the recess of the shaft. The circumferential surface contacts the shaft in each of the two end regions of the recess.

A low pressure valve for controlling exhaust gas recirculation in an internal combustion engine for a vehicle includes a housing, which contains a channel section for exhaust gas guidance, and a valve element disposed in the housing to control the exhaust gas passage in the channel section. An actuating drive is mounted on the housing and adjusts the valve element. The actuating drive is formed of an electromagnetic rotary actuator with a drive shaft thereof. The drive shaft is routed in an extended manner out of a rotary actuator housing and is in the form of an actuating shaft. The actuating shaft extends continuously to the housing and protrudes into the housing transversely to the flow direction, engages therein at the valve element in a non-rotatable manner and can be rotationally adjusted about the axis to actuate the valve element.

Low pressure valve, for controlling exhaust gas recirculation

A valve assembly for supplying gas, in particular for supplying air to a fuel cell, includes a valve assembly having at least two individually controllable valves, a common housing, in which the valves are accommodated, including a common inlet and at least one outlet for each valve, wherein the housing is formed of at least two housing parts, wherein the common inlet is formed in a first housing part, said inlet being coupled to one valve in each case, and wherein the valves are accommodated in a second housing part, wherein the two housing parts are sealed with respect to one another by means of assigned joining surfaces, wherein at least one valve seat for a valve is provided at the joining surface of the first housing part, said valve seat being closable with a sealing surface of the valve.
