A pneumatic tire for use on trucks, the tire comprising: a tread which includes a belt reinforcement structure, the belt structure including a pair of working belts, wherein the angle of the working belts range from about 16 degrees to about 30 degrees, wherein a low angle belt is positioned preferably between of the working belts, wherein the angle of the low angle belt is less than 5 degrees. The working belts are extensible, and preferably made of high elongation wire.

A pneumatic tire is described which includes a tread, a carcass and a belt structure interposed between the carcass and the tread. The belt structure includes a pair of working belts, wherein the angle of the working belts range from about 15 degrees to about 30 degrees, wherein the belt structure further includes a zigzag belt structure located between the working belts. A gear pump and method for pumping elastomeric material having two gears with meshing herringbone gear teeth. Each of the gear teeth has helical side portions and a curved central portion which extends circumferentially of the gear a distance equal to at least one half the pitch of the gear teeth to provide a continuous squeezing contact between the teeth of the two gears for pumping a uniform strip of elastomeric material from the gear pump.

Tire tread

A storage carriage for longitudinal components. The storage carriage has a pair of continuous belts. The belts are arranged to form a nested zigzag pattern. As the component is feed through the nested zigzag pattern, substantially the entire length of the component within the storage carriage is subjected to the same tension and compression. The component is fed into one corner of the carriage and is removed from the opposing corner of the carriage. The component travels through the carriage in a &ldquo;first-in/first-out&rdquo; system.
