Various examples are directed to systems and methods for aggregating user tool experience. A record ingestion circuit may receive action record data from a user tool that describes an action performed with the user tool by the user. The record ingestion circuit may also receive user name data describing the user. A record analytics circuit may generate user experience data for the user describing a plurality of actions performed by the user with the user tool. An application programming interface (API) circuit may receive from a requesting application a query for data describing the plurality of actions and send to the requesting application the data describing the plurality of actions.

In one embodiment, a system comprises: a processor including at least one core to execute instructions; a plurality of sensors, including a first sensor to determine location information regarding a location of the system; and a security engine to apply a security policy to the system. In this embodiment, the security engine includes a policy logic to determine one of a plurality of security policies to apply based at least in part on the location information, where the location information indicates a location different than locations associated with the plurality of security policies. A computer system for allowing proprietary forwarding elements to interoperate with standard control elements in an open network architecture. The computer system comprises a forwarding element that is adapted to perform data forwarding functions in a computer network. A control element is adapted to perform network signaling and control functions in the computer network. The control element is adapted to generate a standardized data set for configuring the forwarding element. An interconnecting element operatively connects the forwarding element to the control element. A forwarding element plugin is integrated with the control element for receiving the standardized data set from the control element, translating the standardized data set into a specialized data set, and transmitting the specialized data set to the forwarding element to configure the forwarding element. The forwarding element utilizes the specialized data set to configure the forwarding element for performing data forwarding in the computer network.

Method and apparatus for allowing proprietary forwarding elements to interoperate with standard control elements in an open architecture for network devices

A replicated server discovery (&ldquo;RSD&rdquo;) provides optimal or best-replicated servers to Web users without users' intervention. In one embodiment, the RSD is configured to receive server addresses using Domain Name System (&ldquo;DNS&rdquo;) lookup, where the server addresses include replicated server addresses. The RSD further records responses from servers addressed by the server addresses and then sorts the server addresses according to the responses and data types involved in transactions.
