A fixed valve stem oil seal comprises cup-shaped inner and outer cases engageable with the valve guide of a piston-type internal combustion engine. A seal element is disposed between radial flanges on the cases so as to be radially movable relative thereto. The seal element is slidably engageable with the valve stem and said cases so as to effect a seal between the valve and valve guide.

Fixed valve stem oil seal

A fixed valve stem oil seal comprises a cup-shaped case engageable with the valve guide of a piston-type internal combustion engine. An 'O-ring' type seal element is disposed between radial flanges on the case and the valve guide so as to be radially movable relative thereto. The seal element is slidable engageable with the valve stem, valve guide, and said case so as to effect a seal between the valve and valve guide.

Valve stem seal

A plastic seal housing with an integrally bonded elastomeric seal for use about the rear crankshaft of an internal combustion engine featuring fewer leak paths and requiring no secondary machining of the seal housing subsequent to the molding thereof.

A seal for use about a rotatable shaft comprises an annular cylindrical elastic sealing element having a radially inwardly extending flange defining a sealing lip at its radially innermost edge. An axially undulatory wave spring molded internally of the flange induces axial undulations in the sealing lip thereon while acting as a garter spring to maintain the lip in contiguity with a shaft passing therethrough. Upon rotation of the shaft, the undulating sealing lip deflects the fluid to be contained therewith away from the seal, thereby increasing seal effectiveness.

Rotary shaft wave seal

An oil deflector adapted to be secured to the valve guide of an internal combustion engine comprises a generally cup-shaped molded plastic member having a seal element in a transverse end wall with lips engageable with both the valve and valve guide in sealing relation.

Fixed valve stem oil deflector

An oil deflector adapted to be mounted on the stem of a valve of an internal combustion engine comprises a generally cup-shaped molded plastic member having a generally cylindrical section and a transversal end wall section having a bore with a radially inwardly opening groove for the acceptance of an O-ring.

Valve stem oil deflector

A molded thermoplastic valve stem oil deflector for an internal combustion engine comprises a two piece cup-shaped member having a skirt and a neck defined by two axially spaced radial flanges. The flanges have apertures therethrough defining a radially inwardly opening annulus for the acceptance of a conventional O-ring that seals on the valve stem and supports the oil deflector relative thereto.
