The present disclosure provides a coextruded multi layer film. The coextruded multilayer film includes a core component having from 15 to 1000 alternating layers of layer A and layer B. Layer A has a thickness from 30 nm to 1000 nm and includes a propylene-based polymer having a crystallization temperature (T). Layer B includes a second polymer having a glass transition temperature (T), wherein T&#x3c;T. Layer A has an effective moisture permeability less than 0.40 g-mil/100 in/day.

The present disclosure provides a coextruded multilayer films. The present invention relates to compositions and methods for reducing or preventing the loss of drilling fluids and other well servicing fluids into a subterranean formation during drilling or construction of boreholes in said formation. Specifically, this invention comprises a curable composition capable of free radical polymerization for creating lost circulation material in-situ. Curable composition for use as lost circulation material

Flexible polyurethane foams are made using certain hydrolysable silane compounds in the foam formulation. The hydrolysable silane compounds contain at least one isocyanate-reactive group and at least one hydrolysable silane group. The presence of the hydrolysable silane compound in the foam formulation leads to improved tensile, tear and elongation properties without an adverse effect on other important foam properties such as resiliency and hysteresis loss.

Cellular structures and viscoelastic polyurethane foams

Embodiments of the present invention relate to polyurethane foams having high air flow while maintaining viscoelastic properties. In one embodiment, a reaction system for preparation of a viscoelastic polyurethane foam is provided. The reaction system comprises (a) a polyisocyanate component and (b) an isocyanate reactive component. The isocyanate reactive component comprises (i) from 35 to 74% by weight of the isocyanate reactive component of one or more propylene oxide rich (PO-rich) polyols having a combined number average equivalent weight from 200 to 500, (ii) from 24 to 50% by weight of the isocyanate reactive component of one or more ethylene oxide rich (EO-rich) polyols having a combined number average equivalent weight from 200 to 2,800, and (iii) from 2 to 10% by weight of the isocyanate reactive component of one or more butylene oxide rich (BO-rich) polyethers having a number average equivalent weight of 2,000 or more.

Use of poly(butylene oxide) polyol to improve durability of MDI-polyurethane foams

A viscoelastic polyurethane foam is the reaction product of at least one natural oil derived polyol and at least one aromatic compound having an average of more than one isocyanate group. A viscoelastic polyurethane foam has an air flow of at least about 0.5 l/s, wherein the foam is formed in the substantial absence of copolymer polyol and has not (yet) been mechanically reticulated and is preferably prepared using at least one natural oil derived polyol, more preferably in an amount of at least about 20 weight percent of the polyols used. A process of preparing a viscoelastic foam, comprises steps of (A) forming a reaction mixture including at least one polyol, at least one polyisocyanate, water, at least one catalyst wherein a the polyol comprises at least one natural oil derived polyol; and (B) subjecting the reaction mixture to conditions sufficient to result in the reaction mixture to expand and cure to form a viscoelastic polyurethane foam. In another embodiment, a process comprises steps of (a) forming a natural oil derived polyol composition comprising at least one natural oil derived polyol and water; (b) admixing at least one gelling catalyst and at least one blowing catalyst with the natural oil derived polyol composition to form a catalyst polyol admixture; (c) supplying an isocyanate in an amount corresponding to an isocyanate index for a pMDI of at least about 65 and at most about 95 or, when the isocyanate is a TDI or MDI or combination thereof, at least about 80 and at most about 105; and (c) admixing the isocyanate with the catalyst polyol admixture.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose viscoelastic foams having a renewable natural resource contents of between about 1 and about 25 wt % of the foam. The foams may have a ratio of elastic modulus (E') at 20&#xb0; C. to 25% compression force deflection (CFD) of 25 to 125.
