Method for generating at least one derived identity

A method of authenticating the capture of an image of a three-dimensional entity is provided, including the steps of generating a series of images of the entity with the help of an optical sensor, associating each image with information representative of the position of the sensor at the moment at which it generated the image, and determining whether there is consistency between two images of the series by verifying whether there is consistency between an apparent movement of the optical sensor as determined by comparing characteristic points visible in the two images and an estimated real movement of the optical sensor as determined by comparing information representative of three-dimensional positions of the optical sensor at the moments when it generated the two images.

Method for authenticating an image capture of a three-dimensional entity

The present invention relates to a method of identifying a user, the method being implemented by means of a database containing personal data of users and containing for each user at least one unmodified biometric characteristic (E1,), at least one biometric characteristic (E2,) that has been modified and that is accessible from the unmodified biometric characteristic, and at least one item of identification data (D) that is accessible from a code identifying the modification that has implemented on the second biometric characteristic. The method comprises the steps of comparing first and second biometric characteristics (e1,) read from the user with the characteristics in the database in order to determine (5) what modification has been implemented and to deduce therefrom the code identifying the modification; and extracting (6) the identification data by means of the code as deduced in this way. The invention also provides a database for implementing the method.

Method of identifying a user by means of modified biometric characteristics, and a database for implementing the method

The invention relates to a person identification control method and to a system for implementing same. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in: detecting biometric data () relating to at least one person; seeking a concordance between the biometric data relating to the person and biometric data that have been pre-stored in a biometric database (), said pre-stored biometric data relating to persons for whom identification means have already been generated; and, when no concordance is found, generating an identification means () that is associated with the person from the biometric data relating to the person and at least one identity () for said person.

Person identification control method and system for implementing same

The present invention provides a process and system for identifying a person. According to the inventive method, and with the aid of the system, a sensor is used to capture biometric characteristics of a person to be identified. Identification data is extracted and the identification data of the person to be identified is compared to reference data in a database. In a preferred embodiment, an image is taken of creases in the skin of the person to be identified, reference crease data having been taken beforehand and stored in a database, and a first recognition is effected by means of the skin crease image in a filtering stage. After this first recognition, the reference data of the database may be filtered using other biometric characteristics, with continuing recognition using these other characteristics.
