The invention provides a seat-back hinge for a vehicle seat comprising an inwardly toothed sector integral with the sitting portion flange (1), an inwardly toothed sector integral with the seat-back flange (3), a toothed bolt (5) adapted to coact directly with these two sectors and a rotary cam (6) connected to a control hand-lever (22) and adapted to coact with the bolt. This bolt and this cam are mounted transversely floating and the cam comprises a semi-cylindrical land (11) adapted to coact directly with two complementary lands comprised by the two flanges.

Hinge devices for seat-backs

For adjusting the height and inclination of the sitting portion of a seat with respect to the base of this seat, two mechanisms are provided placed respectively between these two sub-assemblies, at the front and at the rear of the seat. Each mechanism comprises, on each side of the seat, two horizontal bearing surfaces integral with the base, a horizontal shaft connected vertically to the sitting portion and pivotably mounted thereon, two flat Archimedes-spiral cams in opposite directions integral with the shaft and placed jointingly between the bearing surfaces, and electric means for causing said shaft to rotate, these means allowing the shaft of the front mechanism, that of the rear mechanism or both at the same time to be rotated at will.

Devices for adjusting the height and inclination of a seat

The invention concerns a vehicle seat slide comprising a lower channel section integral with the floor of the vehicle, an upper channel section integral with the sitting portion of the seat, intermediate balls and a locking mechanism comprising a toothed bolt mounted on the upper channel section adapted to coact with a series of catches in the lower channel section. There is provided on one of the channel sections a series of vertical teeth and on the other a series of closed apertures disposed vertically opposite the teeth so that the beginning of a vertical dislocation of the slide results in the teeth catching in the apertures.

Seat-supporting slides

The invention concerns a seat hinge comprising a first flange integral with the sitting portion carrying a first toothed sector having axis A, a second flange integral with the seat back carrying a second toothed sector having axis B adapted to coact vertically with the first sector and a handle-rotary cam-bearing surface assembly for controlling the vertical movements of the flange. The first flange carries a third toothed sector having axis A diametrically opposed to the first sector and open likewise upwards, and the second flange carries another toothed sector having axis B diametrically opposed to the second sector, likewise open downwards, and adapted to coact with the third sector at the same time as the second sector coacts with the first sector. Preferred application: front vehicle seats.
