Systems, methods, and apparatus for corona detection using audio data are provided. In one example embodiment, the method includes obtaining, by one or more computing devices, audio data during at least one time interval, the time interval including a plurality of time windows; partitioning, by the one or more computing devices, the audio data into a plurality of window audio data each corresponding to a respective one of said time windows; and determining, by the one or more computing devices, a signal indicative of a presence of corona based at least in part on at least one window audio data relative to a remainder audio data.

Corona detection using audio data

Systems, methods, and apparatus for corona detection using audio data are provided. In one example embodiment, the method includes obtaining, by one or more computing devices, audio data indicative of audio associated with an electrical system for at least one time interval. The method includes partitioning, by the one or more computing devices, the audio data for the time interval into a plurality of time windows. The method includes determining, by the one or more computing devices, a signal indicative of a presence of corona based at least in part on audio data collected within an identified time window of the plurality of time windows relative to audio data collected for a remainder of the time interval.

Disclosed herein is a suspension clamp connecting assembly. The suspension clamp connecting assembly includes a clamping unit, a support member, and a corona ring. The clamping unit includes a base section, extending arms, and clamp contact portions. The extending arms are between the clamp contact portions and the base section. The clamping unit is configured to clamp on to a suspension clamp. The support member has a first end and a second end. The first end of the support member is connected to the base section. The support member is configured to support an electronics housing. The corona ring is connected to the second end of the support member.

A coupling member for receiving wire strands of a stranded composite core conductor includes a substantially cylindrical body having first and second ends. A first through hole extends from a first opening at the first end to a second opening at the second end of the body for receiving a wire strand of the stranded conductor. An in-line electrical conductor switch including a frame, an electrical connection section movably connected to the frame, and a rotational stability device. The frame includes first and second connection sections insulated from each other by an electrical isolation section. The first and second connection sections are configured to connect to respective ends of first and second electrical conductors. The switch is entirely supported by the first and second electrical conductors. The electrical connection section is movably connected to the frame between a first connected position and a second disconnected position. The rotational stability device is connected to the frame and adapted to reduce or prevent rotation of the frame about an axis through the ends of the electrical conductors during movement of the electrical connection section to the second disconnected position.
