A process for detecting the sensitivity of one or more polymers and/or of one or more mixtures of polymers to a compound, including the steps of exposing a plurality of individualized micro-deposits including the polymer(s) and/or the mixture(s) of polymers to the compound, and detecting, by interferometry, a variation in appearance of an assembly of micro-deposits exposed to the compound and/or a variation in the dimensions and/or refractive index of at least one of the micro-deposits exposed to the compound, linked to an interaction between the polymer(s) and/or the mixture(s) of polymers and the compound.

Optical detection method

Disclosed is a method for producing nanocelluloses from a cellulose substrate including cellulose fibers, the method including the following sequence of steps: &#x2014;a step of enzymatic treatment of the cellulose substrate, by bringing same into contact with at least one cleaving enzyme, then&#x2014;a step of mechanical treatment of the cellulose substrate subjected to the step of enzymatic treatment, in order to delaminate the cellulose fibres and obtain the nanocelluloses. The at least one cleaving enzyme is chosen from the enzymes belonging to the family of lytic polysaccharide monooxygenases (LPMOs) capable of achieving cleavage in the presence of an electron donor. Also disclosed are the nanocelluloses obtained according to the method.

Method for producing nanocelluloses from a cellulose substrate

The composition, advantageously an emulsion or a foam, includes an internal phase dispersed in a hydrophilic continuous phase, the percentage of the internal phase being higher than 50%. The emulsion composition contains nanocrystals of a polysaccharide other than cellulose, advantageously chitin, that are located at the interface between the internal phase and the hydrophilic continuous phase.

The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an emulsion, advantageously a Pickering emulsion, comprising a hydrophobic phase dispersed in an aqueous phase, which composition contains emulsifying particles capable of stabilizing said emulsion, at least some of said particles consisting of cellulose nanocrystals having an elongated shape, which have the following features: a length between 25 nm to 1 &#x3bc;m, and a width between 5 to 30 nm.

This invention concerns a colorimetric device for detecting, in an aqueous solution of interest, a hydrolytic enzymatic activity with regard to at least one polymer of interest. This device () includes (i) a substrate () and (ii) a transparent detection layer (), including the said polymer of interest. This detection layer () is adapted so that, on the one hand, after application of the said aqueous solution of interest, when it is deprived of said hydrolytic enzymatic activity, it preserves the said first thickness e, and on the other, after the application of the said aqueous solution of interest, when it includes the said hydrolytic enzymatic activity, it has a second thickness e', thinner than the said first thickness e, and the said first thickness e and/or the said second thickness e&#x2032; of the said detection layer () are adapted to generate a color by an optical interference phenomenon caused by the recombining of the light beams reflected at the interfaces () of the said detection layer ().
