A suspension support device for a motor vehicle comprises an inner strength member comprising a support base and an annular side wall, an outer strength member having a side wall surrounding the side wall of the inner strength member, an elastomer body comprising a load-supporting portion interconnecting the inner and outer strength members. The outer strength member has a bottom portion located under the support base of the inner strength member, extending parallel to the support base and presenting a central passage for passing the top portion of a shock absorber. The side wall of the outer strength member includes a window between the support base of the inner strength member and the bottom portion of the outer strength member, the device including a cavity under the load-carrying portion of the elastomer body.

A hydraulic antivibration sleeve comprising two constrictive strength members interconnected by an elastomer body which defines first and second diametrically opposite working chambers and a side compensation chamber. The two working chambers communicate with each other via a constricted passage, while the compensation chamber communicates with the first working chamber only via another constricted passage. The elastomer wall which defines the second working chamber is free and is not in contact with the inner strength member except in a certain range of values for the radial static load supported by the sleeve: this provides two different modes of operation depending on the value of said static load.

Hydraulic antivibration sleeve

A hydraulic antivibration mount comprises two rigid tubular endpieces (1, 2) one surrounding the other, the endpieces being connected together by an elastomer body (3) shaped so as to form together therewith two diametrically opposite liquid-tight pockets (A, B) that communicate with each other via a narrow channel (7), said pockets and said channel being filled with a damping liquid, the narrow channel (7) being delimited on the outside by the inside cylindrical face (10) of the central portion of the inner tubular endpiece (1) and being delimited on the inside by a groove (8) formed in the outer cylindrical face of a ring (9). The inner tubular endpiece is shaped so as to present both an axial inlet (13) that is large enough to provide access to the ring (9) and a cylindrical housing (10) at the end of said inlet and suitable for receiving said ring as a force-fit.

Hydraulic antivibration mounts for damping oscillations in rigid parts

A hydraulic anti-vibration sleeve includes two coaxial rigid tubular membvers that are interconnected by an elastomer body (3) which co-operates therewith to form two diametrically opposite watertight pockets that intercommunicate via a narrow channel (Z), both pockets and the channel being filled with a liquid, the axial section of the portion of the body defining one of the pockets being U-shaped or V-shaped and open radially outwards, and being bonded to two rigid annular section members (8, 9) , with the axially central portion of the body forming two radial arms (6). The narrow channel (Z) comprises, in series: two lengths (10, 11) belonging to respective ones of the two annular section members (8, 9); and a connection (12) interconnecting the two lengths and axially disposed at the outside edge of one of the radial arms (6).

Hydraulic anti-vibration sleeves

A hydraulic antivibratory sleeve comprises, on the the one hand, two rigid tubular frames (1, 2) with an axis X, one surrounding the other, joined together by an elastomer body (3) shaped so as to form therewith at least two sealed pockets (A, B) diametrically opposite in a direction Y perpendicular to axis X and communicating together through an narrow channel (4). The assembly formed by these pockets and the channel is filled with liquid. The sleeve includes, on the other hand, at one of its axial ends, an annular work-chamber (C) defined partially by a resilient wall (7) resisting axial compression. This sleeve further comprises at its other axial end an annular compensation chamber (D) defined partially by a flexible membrane (12), a narrow channel (13) connecting the two annular chambers directly together and the assembly formed by the channel and the two chambers being filled with liquid.

Hydraulic antivibratory sleeves

The invention relates to a hydraulic vibration damping bushing comprising two tubular rigid armatures (1, 2) jointly united by an elastomeric body (3) configured in such a way to form between themselves at least two tight pockets (4, 4') communicating with each other by a narrow channel (7), which along with the pockets is filled with a liquid. One of these pockets (4) contains an elastomeric pad (10) added on the concave face of a curved rigid plate (11) which abuts on the internal face of the external armature (2), said pad being, in the resting position of the bushing, diametrically precompressed between the two armatures.

Hydraulic vibration damping bushings

The invention provides a hydraulic antivibratory support sleeve comprising two rigid tubular frames (1, 2) one surrounding the other and joined together by an elastomer body (3) adhered thereto and adapted so as to form therewith at least two diametrically opposite sealed chambers (A, B) communicating together through a narrow channel (E), the whole of said chambers and said channel being filled with a damping liquid. The median portion of its internal frame (1) comprises a rigid seat for a mobile or deformable valve (6, 10), which valve has two opposite surfaces placed respectively in direct contact with the liquid volumes contained respectively in both chambers (A, B). The amplitude of the deflection movements of this valve are limited.
