Apparatus, systems and methods for intraoperative imaging

An imager for in vivo viewing of diseased tissue by way of fluorescently conjugated molecules. A generally planar imaging surface with a microlens array. The imager may be modular, such that a plurality of generally planar imaging surfaces can be used to image various aspects of disease tissue simultaneously. Certain implementations include an angle-selective imager, wherein light from substantially perpendicular to the plane of the imager is received, while incident light is selectively eliminated.

Methods, systems, and devices for imaging microscopic tumors

A method is described wherein the dual representation mathematical principle is used for the design of decision systems. This principle permits some decision functions that are weighted sums of predefined functions to be represented as memory-based decision function. Using this principle a memory-based decision system with optimum margin is designed wherein weights and prototypes of training patterns of a memory-based decision function are determined such that the corresponding dual decision function satisfies the criterion of margin optimality.
