The invention relates to a cooking appliance comprising a case () and a vessel (). Said vessel is intended to receive a cooking bath and is equipped with a draining device () which is used to drain the contents of the vessel () into a draining container (), said container being removably-disposed in relation to the case (). According to the invention, the draining device () comprises a thermostatic valve () consisting of a heat-sensitive mechanical element which moves according to the temperature.
