An electrical energy supply device, in particular for carriage on board an aerodyne, supplying DC current to electrical consumers from at least one electrical network chosen by a selector circuit of the supply device, from a plurality of electrical networks. The supply device includes an adapter per electrical network each of the adapters providing, from the respective electrical network to which the adapter is connected, a preset DC voltage, for supplying the electrical consumers. The choice by the selector circuit, of the electrical network and of its associated adapter supplying the electrical consumers, is dependent on the level of the preset DC voltage of said adapters. Such a device may find particular application to supplying of equipment carried on board aircraft.

High-security electric power supply device

A power supply for a plurality of electronic modules in a compartment. DC electric current is provided to a plurality of consumer electronic modules on the basis of a perturbed DC voltage exhibiting a wide voltage variation range. The supply device includes a primary supply module and a voltage preregulator able to step up or step down the DC voltage in order to provide the modules with a preregulated voltage exhibiting a small voltage variation range. Each module includes a voltage conversion device for providing the voltages adapted to the needs of the module.

Low-cost power supply device to a plurality of electronic modules installed in a compartment

This device allows secure electrical supply of several electronic modules able to be brought together in the same electronic rack and having several levels of criticality. It includes an electrical supply line ( ) attached on the one hand to at least one electrical energy distribution network ( ) and on the other hand to the various electronic modules (M , M , . . . Mn) by way of breaker relays (I , I , . . . , In) and means for managing the load sheddings instigating the commands for opening and closing the breaker relays (I , I , . . . , In) as a function of the load shedding control signals received. The means for managing the load sheddings are composed of a network partitioning load shedding commands ( ) attached to the controls of the breaker relays (I , I , . . , In) by way of diode-type switches (S , S , . . . , Sn) and of a system of straps ( ) guaranteeing them great ability of adaptation to the changes of configuration of the equipment of the rack.

Device for distributing energy between a plurality of electronic modules with possibility of shedding

A power supply device (,) for a light box (,) is provided for the backlighting of liquid crystal display screens. The device (201) includes a regulating DC/DC converter (,) of the booster type, powered directly by a 28-volt power supply so as to deliver directly a 50-volt stabilized DC voltage for powering the light box (,). The converter (,) includes an output diode (,) which protects the device. An energy reserve is obtained via a capacitor (,) supplied directly with the 50-volt voltage. A second converter (,) with galvanic isolation provides a set of supply voltages to electronic control cards (,) of display screens illuminated by the light box (,). A link between the light box (,) and the control cards (,) is effected by a galvanic isolation device (,). The device (,) makes it possible to increase the efficiency of the power supply so as to decrease weight, volume and cost thereof.

Power supply device for a light box including first and second DC to DC convertors and energy reserve

The disclosure relates to the securing of a reserve d.c. power device containing a battery of parallel-connected electrolytic capacitors. A reserve d.c. power device is provided with current limitation means series-connected at its input and current cut-off means that are series-connected with each capacitor and that open for a current intensity value higher than the value of intensity of the nominal current for charging the protected capacitor that is imposed by the distribution, between the capacitors, of the current with intensity limited by the means of limiting current delivered by the d.c. source each time that the system is started up. Precautions are thus taken against power supply losses due to the short-circuiting of a capacitor. At the same time, it is seen to it that the state of the capacitors of the power reserve device is constantly monitored.

Reserve d.c. power device

A composite switch is constituted by a series or parallel association of at least two simple switches. Each simple switch includes an element for measuring the current in the simple switch in the case of a parallel association; an element for measuring the voltage across the simple switch in the case of an association in series; and a control circuit receiving the information provided by the measuring elements as well as a control signal from the simple switch, and providing an active failure signal if the measured voltage is high or the measured current is low while the simple switch is controlled to be turned on, or if the measured current is high or the measured voltage is low while the simple switch is controlled to be turned off.
