Disclosed is a ceiling type air conditioner that can implement a horizontal air flow to provide an indirect wind to a user with a simple structure. To this end, the ceiling type air conditioner according to the present disclosure includes an inner case in which a blower and a heat exchanger are built-in, and a blow passage for guiding air passed through the heat exchanger downward is formed; an inner flow path body which is disposed below the inner case and has a suction flow path for sucking air into the inner case so as to communicate vertically; and an outer flow path body which is spaced outward from the inner flow path body and disposed below the inner case, and forms a discharge flow path, between the inner flow path body, communicating with the blow passage; wherein an outer circumferential surface of the inner flow path body comprises a first concave portion formed to be concave, a first horizontal portion extended horizontally outwardly from a lower end of the first concave portion, and a vertical portion extended vertically downwardly from an outer end of the first horizontal portion.

An air conditioning system having an auxiliary heat source is provided and that may include an outdoor unit, an indoor heat exchanger connected to the outdoor unit, the indoor heat exchanger including a temperature sensor, an auxiliary heat source arranged as an auxiliary to the outdoor unit and operated by an energy source different from an energy source of the outdoor unit, a thermostat configured to control a temperature of an installation space supplied with cold air or warm air by the outdoor unit and the auxiliary heat source, and a communicator. The communicator may include an input unit connected to the thermostat, a first output unit connected to the auxiliary heat source, a second output unit connected to the outdoor unit, and a controller configured to process signals between the input unit, the first output unit, and the second output unit.

An air conditioner may include a heat exchanger having a first cooling coil and a second cooling coil inclined toward each other, an inlet formed between a lower end of the first cooling coil and a lower end of the second cooling coil to allow air to pass through, an inside air duct through which air introduced to the inlet flows, an air supply duct through which the air passing through the heat exchanger flows, a fan causing air passing through the heat exchanger to flow, and a temperature sensor sensing a temperature of the air introduced into the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger includes a plate positioned between the first cooling coil and the second cooling coil. The plate may have a sensor insertion hole into which the temperature sensing device is inserted. By measuring the temperature of the air introduced into the heat exchanger, more accurate control information may be provided.

An air guide for a ceiling-type air conditioner is applied to the ceiling-type air conditioner comprising: an indoor unit having a heat exchanger and a blower embedded therein, and having a plurality of blowing passages for discharging, to the outside, air which has passed through the heat exchanger; a plurality of inlets for receiving the air discharged through the plurality of blowing passages; and a discharge panel having an inner space, of which at least a portion communicates with the plurality of inlets, and a ring or arc-shaped opening for discharging, into a room, air which has flowed into the inner space. The air guide includes: at least two partition parts formed in parallel to the radial direction of the opening, and dividing the inner space in the circumferential direction; and a curved part connecting the at least two partition parts, and formed in an arc shape, and is detachably inserted into the inside of the opening from the outside of the opening.

A centrifugal fan having improved efficiency and noise reduction includes a hub configured to have a central part combined with a rotary shaft, a shroud spaced apart from the hub, and a plurality of blades provided between the hub and the shroud. The shroud includes outer circumferential parts each connecting the trailing edges of a plurality of respective adjacent blades. Each outer circumferential part is asymmetrically formed based on the center of the outer circumferential part.

A refrigerant heating apparatus is provided. The refrigerant heating apparatus includes a refrigerant pipe in which a refrigerant flows and a heating unit that is provided on an outer surface of the refrigerant pipe. The heating unit includes a plurality of electrodes that are provided at an outer surface of the refrigerant pipe and are spaced from each other and a plurality of carbon nanotube heating elements that are electrically connected to the plurality of electrodes. The plurality of carbon nanotube heating elements are heated by an applied power, and are disposed to be spaced from each other.
