The first type pixel and the second type pixel are disposed adjacent to each other in a second direction. In a method of operating a light field three-dimensional (3D) display device having an RGBG pixel structure, multi-view image data including RGB data at multiple points of view are received, RGB rearrangement data including R sub-pixel data, G sub-pixel data, and B sub-pixel data are generated from the multi-view image data by extracting two adjacent ones of the R sub-pixel data at a same pixel row at a same point of view, by extracting two adjacent ones of the G sub-pixel data at a same pixel row at different points of view, and by extracting two adjacent ones of the B sub-pixel data at a same pixel row at a same point of view, RGBG data are generated by performing RGB-to-RGBG data conversion on the RGB rearrangement data, and a 3D image is displayed using the RGBG data.

A light field display apparatus includes a display panel and a micro lens array. The display panel includes a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in a matrix. The micro lens array is disposed on the display panel. The micro lens array includes a plurality of micro lenses. Each of the plurality of sub pixels emits light of a single color, of a set of primary colors. The arrangement of the micro lens array, relative to the display panel, causes the light of certain sub pixels, of the plurality of sub pixels to be emphasized. The micro lens array is arranged, relative to the display panel, so that sub pixels of each primary color are emphasized to a same extent.

Light field display apparatus

A flexible display device includes a flexible display panel to generate an image and a bending detection screen to detect a bending angle and a bending position. The bending detection screen includes an angle detection sensor and a position detection sensor. The angle detection sensor includes a material with a resistance that changes in correspondence to an intensity of an applied stress. The angle detection sensor has an area per unit length that is substantially constant on a base surface. The position detection sensor includes a material with a resistance that changes in correspondence to an intensity of the applied stress. The position detection sensor has an area per unit length that increases along a length direction on the base surface. Signal lines are connected to the angle and position detection sensors.

A display apparatus and driving method are provided. The display apparatus, which operates in a display mode or a sensing mode, includes: a first signal line configured to apply a first driving signal to a pixel circuit during the display mode and to apply a sensing input signal to the pixel circuit during the sensing mode; a second signal line configured to apply a second driving signal to the pixel circuit during the display mode and to transfer a sensing output signal from the pixel circuit during the sensing mode; and a pixel including the pixel circuit, wherein a first current path for image display is formed in the pixel circuit during the display mode, and a second current path, configured to measure a resistance of a pressure resistance layer between the first signal line and the second signal line, is formed in the pixel circuit during the sensing mode.
