A light emitting display device includes a substrate, an organic layer, a conductor, an anode, and a pixel definition layer. The organic layer overlaps the substrate and has a connection opening. The conductor is positioned between the substrate and the organic layer. The anode is positioned on the organic layer and is partially positioned inside the connection opening. The pixel definition layer exposes an exposed portion of the anode. The organic layer has a halftone exposure portion and a neighboring portion. The halftone exposure portion overlaps the exposed portion of the anode and overlaps the conductor. The neighboring portion neighbors the halftone exposure portion. A face of the halftone exposure portion and a face of the neighboring portion are spaced from the substrate by a first distance and a second distance, respectively. A difference between the first distance and the second distance is 30 nm or less.

Light emitting display device and manufacturing method thereof

A display device including a substrate; a first electrode on the substrate; a partitioning wall on the first electrode that includes a first opening that overlaps the first electrode; a touch detection electrode on the partitioning wall; a low refractive layer on the partitioning wall and the touch detection electrode, the low refractive layer including a second opening that overlaps the first opening; and a high refractive layer on the low refractive layer. Planar shapes of the first opening and the second opening are polygons, each including a series of sides, and a distance between one side of the first opening and the second opening is different than another side of the first opening and the second opening in a plan view.

Display device

A display device includes a substrate, a transistor, an interlayer insulating layer, a first conductive line, a pixel electrode, a passivation layer, a common electrode, and a light emitting element layer. The transistor overlaps the substrate. The interlayer insulating layer overlaps the transistor and includes a first groove. The first conductive line is electrically connected to the transistor and is at least partially disposed inside the first groove. The pixel electrode is electrically connected to the transistor and overlaps the first conductive line. The passivation layer is disposed between the pixel electrode and the first conductive line and directly contacts at least one of the pixel electrode and the first conductive line. The common electrode overlaps the pixel electrode. The light emitting element layer is disposed between the common electrode and the pixel electrode.

A display device may include a sensor layer, a substrate, a pixel layer, and a black matrix. The sensor layer may include photo sensors. The substrate may be positioned on the sensor layer. The pixel layer may be positioned on the substrate and may include pixels. The substrate may be positioned between the sensor layer and the pixel layer. The pixels may include pixel electrodes. The black matrix may be positioned on the pixel layer, may include first-set openings respectively overlapping with the pixel electrodes, and may include second-set openings not overlapping with any pixel electrodes of the display device in a direction perpendicular to the substrate. The pixel layer may be positioned between the substrate and the black matrix.

Display device that prevents deterioration due to external light

A display device includes a display panel and an optical member. The display panel includes a lower substrate and an upper substrate. The display panel forms a light-transmitting area and a display area near the light-transmitting area. The optical member is adjacent to a rear surface of the display panel and overlaps with a portion corresponding to the light-transmitting area. The display area includes a thin film transistor and an organic light emitting element configured to receive a current from the thin film transistor. The light-transmitting area does not include a metal layer, which is disposed in the display area. The upper substrate and the lower substrate do not have a through-hole structure in the light-transmitting area.

A display device includes: a first display area including a first pixel area; a second display area including a second pixel area and a transmissive area adjacent to the second pixel area; a first pixel in the first pixel area; a second pixel in the second pixel area; and a dummy pixel in the transmissive area, wherein the dummy pixel includes a light emission portion emitting light on both sides.

The color filter layer includes a plurality of first color patterns overlapping the source connection electrode in the bending area that are separated from each other.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display panel having a first area and a second area, the first area including a first pixel area and a first surrounding area surrounding the first pixel area, and the second area including a second pixel area, a transmission area, and a second surrounding area surrounding the second pixel area and the transmission area, an encapsulation structure on the display panel and including at least one inorganic layer and at least one organic layer, a color filter on the encapsulation structure and overlapping the first pixel area and the second pixel area, a black matrix on the encapsulation structure and overlapping the first surrounding area and the second surrounding area, and a functional module on a rear surface of the display panel and overlapping the second area.

Display device having a transmission area

A display device including a display panel having a first side including a display area configured to emit light and a second side opposite to the first side, an auxiliary layer disposed on the second side of the display area and including an opening, a sensor overlapping the opening and having a first surface facing the display panel, a first adhesive layer disposed between the first surface of the sensor and the display panel, and a second adhesive layer disposed between a side surface of the sensor and the auxiliary layer, in which the second adhesive layer and the first adhesive layer contact each other.
