The invention concerns an adhesive system comprising (a) a resin component comprising a urea based amino resin having an F/NHratio from 0.3 to 0.65; (b) a hardener component comprising at least one acid, acid generating salt or acidic salt; and, (c) an aqueous polymer dispersion; wherein the adhesive system comprises no or less than 0.9 wt % of urea, based on the weight of the entire adhesive system, in addition to any urea present in the urea based amino resin. The invention further concerns a method of producing a wood based product, wood based products obtainable thereby and use of the adhesive system.

Adhesive system

The invention relates to a hardener composition for use in an amino resin based adhesive system, comprising an aliphatic alpha hydroxy- mono-, or di-, carboxylic acid, and polyvinyl alcohol. It also relates to an adhesive system and a method of gluing wooden materials.

Hardener composition, adhesive system and method of gluing

The present invention relates to a method for reducing emissions of one or more gaseous substances from an assembly of at least two pieces of wooden materials, which have been glued together. It also relates to a method for producing a laminated wooden product comprising planing at least one of the sides of an assembly having glue lines exposed, and, treating the one or more planed sides by application of one or more treating substances reactive to one or more gaseous substances emitted from the at least one planed side. Finally, the present invention relates to a laminated wooden product having low emissions.

The invention relates to an adhesive system comprising (a) an etherified amino resin, (b) a polymer prepared from one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers, (c) a curing agent, and (d) a polyvinyl alcohol and the use thereof for gluing wood based products. The invention also relates to a hardener composition for gluing systems of the amino resin type comprising, (b) a polymer prepared from one or more ethylenically unsaturated monomers, said polymer containing post-crosslinking groups, (c) a carboxylic acid and (d) a polyvinyl alcohol and the use thereof for formulating an adhesive system. The invention further relates to a method of application of the adhesive system or the hardener composition onto the surface to be glued.

The present invention relates to a method of gluing wood based materials by providing an adhesive system onto wood based materials followed by curing, the adhesive system comprises a melaminic amino resin and a phenolic resin composition, wherein the phenolic resin composition comprises an acid and a phenolic resin. The invention also relates to an adhesive system and a stable phenolic resin composition as well as wood based products obtained by the method or through the use of the adhesive system.

The present invention relates to a method of gluing wood based materials by providing an adhesive system onto wood based materials followed by curing, the adhesive system comprises a urea based amino resin and a hardener composition, wherein the hardener composition comprises an acid and a phenolic resin. The invention also relates to an adhesive system and a hardener composition as well as wood based products obtained by the method or through the use of the adhesive system.

A method of gluing pieces of substrate together, by using an expandable gluing system comprising a resin component and a hardener component, wherein the hardener component is acidic, and the resin component comprises one or more gas generating substances capable of forming a gas when contacted with the hardener component, whereby the resin and the hardener components are separately applied onto the substrate. Method for application of an expandable gluing system

The invention relates to a method of applying a multi-component glue mixture to objects passing through an applicator station for the application of said glue mixture in a manufacturing line. Waste glue mixture is produced during the application of said glue. The method comprises mixing glue components in a mixer to form said glue mixture. The waste glue mixture is collected in a tank, where it is mixed with a fresh glue component to form a mixture. The mixture of waste glue mixture and fresh component is returned to said mixer.
