A method for synchronizing a plurality of servers of a communication network, which are capable of exchanging time-stamped data using a time reference. The method is implemented by a primary server of the plurality and includes: transmitting to the other servers, called secondary servers, an initialization message containing an identifier of the primary server, a data item resulting from execution of an algorithm for selecting the primary server from the plurality of servers, and a piece of transmission time information on the initialization message; receiving from at least one secondary server a message acknowledging the transmitted initialization message; and validating a synchronization challenge comprising a difference between a recorded transmission time reference and the piece of transmission time information on the initialization message. The piece of transmission time information replaces the recorded time reference for the time-stamping of the data exchanged between the servers once the validation is complete.

Method for synchronizing a plurality of communication servers, and corresponding computer devices and programs

A method is described for processing a data transport service in a virtual data space deployed on a communications infrastructure, the virtual data space comprising a plurality of sites each comprising a communication server, also referred to as a connector, capable of hosting a data item or an application for processing the data. The method is implemented by an optimisation entity capable of communicating with the connector and comprises receiving a request for deploying the data transport service from a data management agent; obtaining a connectivity parameter with respect to the communication infrastructure of a connector of a site among the plurality of servers, the connector contributing to the data transport service of the received request; and determining at least one data path in the virtual data space, the at least one path comprising an ordered series of connectors selected according to the obtained connectivity parameter.

A method for managing resources of a converged fixed access and mobile radio telecommunications network is disclosed. Each operator of a plurality of mobile operators has at least one base station connected to a mobile radio part of the network. According to such a method, a centralized resource allocation management module carries out: receiving at least one request for resources, called mobile client request, emitted either by a mobile radio resource management module of each of the mobile operators, or by a first centralized resource request management module from at least one mobile radio service request previously received from the mobile radio resource management module of each of the mobile operators; and sending at least one resource allocation offer to the mobile radio resource management modules according to the at least one mobile client request and at least one predetermined resource allocation offer rule.

A method for managing resources of a converged fixed access and mobile radio telecommunications network, some of the resources being implemented in a virtualized and remote form in the network, optical resources of the network being allocated between an optical router and a plurality of optical modems of the network is disclosed. A module for centralized management of the mobile radio resources of the network implements receiving a performance indicator for a mobile radio part of the network transmitted by a base station of the network connected to one of the optical modems and/or by a module of remote virtualized radio functions in the network; estimating the optical resource requirements of the mobile radio part from the performance indicator, providing information representative of the optical resource requirements; and transmitting the information of the optical resource requirements to a module for centralized management of the fixed access and optical resources.

A method is provided for configuring access to a network, to authorize an access to the network for at least one invited terminal associated with an invited user. The method is implemented by a first network access management module associated with a host user. The method includes: receiving, from a terminal associated with the host user, an offer to share the access to the network intended for the invited user, the users being connected via a social network; obtaining, from a second network access management module associated with the invited user, information identifying the invited terminal; obtaining, from the network, configuration information allowing access to the network by the invited terminal, following a sending, to the network, of an access configuration request comprising the identification information; and sending, to the second management module, configuration information intended for the invited terminal allowing it access to the network.

A method and apparatus are provided for determining a chain of individual functions associated with a service. The functions are designed to be interconnected in order to supply the service to a client entity in a communications network. The method includes the following steps implemented by a determination device: receiving from an access node to the service a temporary chain of individual functions associated with the service requested by the client entity together with a context associated with the client entity; determining an action to be performed on the temporary chain of individual functions associated with the service as a function of the context associated with the client entity; implementing the determined action on the temporary chain in order to obtain a final chain of individual functions; and sending the final chain to the service access node. A technique of controlling access by a client entity to a service in a communications network. Processing modules are interconnected in the network in order to supply the service to the client entity. A processing module implements an individual function of a chain of individual functions associated with the service. The access method includes the following steps implemented by an access control device associated with an access node giving access to the service, the device being referred to as a main device: receiving a chain of processing modules from the access node; sending, to a secondary access control device associated with a processing module of the chain, a request to access the processing module under consideration, the request including an access token negotiated between the main device and the client entity; receiving a response to the access request from the secondary device; and notifying the access node of the response.
