A method for migrating a virtualised function from a first server to a second server depending on data of technical environment parameters. The interfaces specified in the virtualised architectures effectively make it possible to deploy and manage virtualised functions with a view to implementing a service but these interfaces do not contain information relating to the data relating to the technical environment upon which the servers, the virtualised functions and subsequently the services and applications that rely on the virtualised functions are dependent. The migration method proposes virtualised architectures that take into consideration the technical environment parameters in order to move virtualised functions whose functioning could be impacted by a malfunction of one or more technical environment parameter(s).

Method and device for migrating a virtualized function in the event of a failure in the technical server environment

A method for delegating a request to establish a new connection between a cellular terminal and an anchor gateway. The cellular terminal is attached, via a first link, to a local base station including an interface with a packet switching network. A first connection is established between the terminal and the anchor gateway. An IP address is assigned to the terminal by the anchor gateway, the first connection using the IP address and the first link. The local base station: receives the request, including an indication of necessary resources; decides not to establish the new connection using the local base station based on the indication; selects an adjacent base station based on quality measurements obtained from radio signal(s) transmitted by adjacent base station(s) to the terminal; and transmits a configuration message to the terminal requesting attachment of the terminal to the selected adjacent base station via a second link.

Hybrid residential gateway

A method for distributing identifiers of sources from a multicast group. The sources are interconnected via an electronic communications network, and the multicast group is identified by a group address. A stream transmitted to the group address by a first source is received by a second source if the second source is already subscribed to the first source. One of the sources, known as the server, is subscribed to all of the other sources. The method includes the server performing the following acts: receiving from one of the other sources, known as an announcer source, a multicast announcement message including an announcer source identifier; and transmitting a management message to the group address, including the announcer source identifier.

Method for distributing identifiers of multicast sources

A method for requesting subscription to a data stream distributed in a multicast group. The group includes sources including a server, a first client and a second client, the sources being interconnected via an electronic communications network. The multicast group is identified by an address. A stream transmitted to the multicast group address by a first source is received by a second source if the second source is already subscribed to the first source. The first client is subscribed to the server. The method includes the first client performing acts of: receiving from the server at least one management message including at least one quality parameter relating to the stream transmitted to the address of the multicast group by the second client; making a decision to subscribe to the second client, according to a criterion dependent on the at least one quality parameter received; and, in the case of a positive decision, transmitting a subscription request message to the second client.

Method for subscribing to streams from multicast clients

Methods are provided for communication in a broadcast group and for collecting real time data in a broadcast group. The broadcast group includes a set of sources that send real time data, the set being made up of at least two sources and a server. A data-sending source of the group sends first time information relating to a first exchange of control data of the first source with the server by broadcasting to the members of the group. The first exchange is the one and only exchange of control data of the first source with the members of the broadcast group. The data-sending source receives second time information sent by the server and relating to the first exchange of control data between the first source and the server and to a second exchange of control data between the second source and the server. The source also receives second time data from other sources of the group and determines a transmission time between itself and another source of the group from the first and second received time information.
