The invention relates to a rubber composition for a mechanical member with a dynamic function, to a process for preparing this composition, to such a member and to a use of a polymer bearing urethane functions. The composition is based on at least one elastomer and comprises a reinforcing filler and said polymer dispersed in the elastomer, the composition comprising the product of an in situ thermomechanical blending reaction of the elastomer with the filler, precursors of the polymer and a chain extender. According to the invention, the composition has a ratio G' 0.5%/G′ 20% of storage moduli G′ relative to the complex shear moduli G* satisfying at least one of the following conditions (i) to (v), G′ 0.5% and G′ 20% being measured according to the standard ISO 4664 at respective dynamic strain amplitudes of 0.5% and 20%, on double shear test specimens subjected to shear strains of from 0.02% to 50% at the same frequency of 5 Hz and at the same temperature T:0.5%/20%≤1.15 for=100° C.,  (i)0.5%/20%≤1.40 for=65° C.,  (ii)0.5%/20%≤1.50 for=25° C.,  (iii)0.5%/20%≤1.60 for=0° C.,  (iv)0.5%/20%≤2.50 for30° C.  (v)

Rubber composition for dynamic uses, production method thereof, products containing same, and uses thereof

The present invention is directed to a liquid sealant composition based on polysulphide, capable of curing on demand, and the process for preparing same, the liquid sealant composition including: (i) a polysulphide comprising an &#x2014;SH end group, (ii) a crosslinking agent chosen from ethylenically unsaturated or acetylenically unsaturated compounds, the unsaturated ethylenic or unsaturated acetylenic functions of the crosslinking agent being chemically blocked with a blocking agent, and (iii) optionally, a catalyst. The present invention also relates to a process for coating a substrate with a composition according to the invention, and also to the cured sealant materials formed from this composition. Finally, the invention relates to the use of a liquid sealant composition according to the invention for the construction and/or the maintenance, and more particularly for the adhesive bonding and/or the protection, of vehicles and machines.

Cure-on-demand liquid sealant composition, process for the preparation thereof and uses thereof

A crosslinked rubber composition, process for preparing same, and a flexible component based on at least one room-temperature vulcanizing 'RTV' silicone elastomer and including at least one phase change material (PCM) is provided. The flexible element includes at least one elastomer layer capable of storing thermal energy and of releasing it which includes the crosslinked rubber composition. Also provided is a thermal control or regulating system incorporating the flexible element. The composition is such that the silicone elastomer has a viscosity measured at 23&#xb0; C. according to the ISO 3219 standard which is less than or equal to 5000 mPa&#xb7;s. The silicone elastomer includes two components A and B and is crosslinked by polyaddition or polycondensation, and the composition includes the PCM, which is not encapsulated and is in the micronized state, in an amount of greater than 50 phr (phr: parts by weight per hundred parts per elastomer(s)).

The present invention relates to a crosslinked rubber composition based on at least one elastomer of ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymer type (EPDM) and on at least one phase-change material (PCM), to a process for preparing this composition and to a multilayer pipe incorporating it. This composition includes at least 100 phr (phr: parts by weight per one hundred parts of elastomer(s)) of at least one phase-change material (PCM), and it is such that said at least one PCM is dispersed in the crosslinked composition and is provided with protection means that are capable of preventing its dispersion therein at a temperature above its melting point, which composition has a breaking strength of greater than 3 MPa and/or an elongation at break of greater than 100%, these properties being measured at 23&#xb0; C. according to standard ASTM D 412.
