A parallel or redundant hybrid drive of a marine drivetrain of a propulsion unit includes an input shaft, which is configured to be driven by a primary drive source; a clutch unit attached to the input shaft with which rotation of the input shaft can be either connected, reversed, or disconnected; a countershaft transverse to the input shaft and driven by the input shaft via a gear; and a secondary drive source arranged via an interconnected clutch at an end of the countershaft, so that upon driving of the input shaft by the primary drive source, the secondary drive source drives the countershaft either on its own or in cooperation with the primary drive source.

Parallel or redundant hybrid marine drive train for a propulsion unit

A propeller drive for boats features a transition cone between the gearbox housing and the propeller hub(s). The propeller hub (that is closest to the gearbox housing) is smaller in cross-sectional dimension than the gearbox housing. The dimension of the front end of the transition cone corresponds to the cross-sectional dimension of the gearbox housing, and the dimension of the rear end of the transition cone corresponds to the cross-section dimension of the (closest) propeller hub. The transition cone has a bulging shoulder between the front and rear ends, the largest peripheral cross-sectional dimension of which is greater than the cross-sectional dimension of the front of the transition cone.

A propeller spinner () for a marine propeller () having multiple propeller blades () attached to a propeller hub () that is adapted for attachment to a propeller shaft () and includes a sacrificial anodic material for protecting the propeller shaft () and/or propeller hub () from corrosion. There is included a hollow spinner cone () made of a non-anodic material and the spinner cone () has at least one perforation in its outer peripheral surface. An anodic insert body () that is made of the sacrificial anodic material constitutes an insert body () that is substantially contained within the hollow spinner cone (). An hydraulic installation in a boat hull for swinging a properller rig pivotably suspended in a shell on a boat transom using a piston-cylinder device arranged in a hydraulic control circuit. A control valve included in the hydraulic circuit for controlling the flow to and from the hydraulic cylinder is sealingly mounted in a through-opening in the shell, so that one side of the valve faces outwardly towards the propeller rig in order to be subjected to water spray during driving and serve as an oil cooler.
